Scootaloo is best pony
....uh, uhm...
H-hello.
Uh...my name is F...F...F-Fluttershy and uh...
Wait, why am I stuttering in my typing? That doesn't make any sense at all, I'm sorry. Uh, so I...what am I trying to type up here...oh yeah. I should really get to the point, especially since typing with hooves is rather difficult. But uhm, I'd just like you all to know that this blog post is about something called the Powerpuff Girls...these strange...oh but rather adorable, but strange (I hope I'm not offending anyone) creatures with rather large eyes. Well, I know I have large eyes in comparison to...you...humans was it? But these, er girls, well half their faces are eyes! I've never seen creatures with such large eyes, oh but they make them ever so cute...
Oh yeah, I should really really get to the point. So there is this box. A magical box actually, or from what I can tell...probably made by unicorns or something...they're pretty smart. But in this magical box you can watch plays and such with little ponies inside...though not very often are there ponies. They're most of the time these human creatures like you, and I'm...not really sure why, but that's what I've seen. Not that that's a bad thing or anything, but I mean...I would've expected ponies because...well I'll get to the point now.
Anyway these Powerpuff Girls...they're like a play inside the box...or a show as you call it. And uhm, I watched the second half of the...second season? Is that what you call it? I can't imagine why you'd group certain acts of a play into something called a season...always thought that meant winter...or spring. I guess it kind of makes sense, if that's how you measure time, but when I watched through there's snow in rather odd places, or there's a heatwave and not really any pattern of proper Equestrian weather. Well, it doesn't look like the show has any weather pegasi anyway...but they don't seem to find it odd or frightening that the weather works by itself like the Everfree Forest...oh how I wish I were as brave as them.
But uhm, yes. I'd like to comment on that second half of the second season here, to give praise and uh...occasional critique if it's okay with you. I mean all of it is really really good, honest! But uhm, I think there's some parts that can use a teensy-bit of improvement...oh no no, I'm not trying to offend or hurt the feelings of anypony who likes certain parts I kind of don't but...well, uh...I thought it should use a bit of comment, that's all. I'm certain everypony wants anything they make to be the best, so I hope my opinions make sense on the matter.
Oh dear, I typed quite a lot without even going into the show. I guess I should really get to the point then.
The first er, show I watched was titled Cootie Gras. Uhm, so there are these girls...who I think are supposed to be humans, but they look rather stylized compared to the rest of the characters, and they were in a classroom because they're pretty young. Probably as young as the Cutie Mark Crusaders, or even younger! Well I felt really bad for this one boy who ran around trying to make friends with the others...though, I don't believe attempting to uhm....kiss....the other students is a good way about doing that. He also doesn't seem to take care of his personal hygiene that much but uh, I suppose you shouldn't be judging others anyway. Everyone was afraid of something called the cooties and he had it. I don't know what these cooties are, but if they are as terrifying as they showed it...then I suppose being afraid is very justified. The scary nightmare they had...that really...I jumped under my bed when I saw that...I almost turned off the magical box.
Angel Bunny didn't let me though. He's much braver than I am. If he knew how to type I'd let him do this review instead. So uh, I heard in the human society...that shows like these are meant for the younger crowd to watch, as in the demographic, which is great! I'm sure all of these shows meant for foals have a lot of important life lessons too, but I wasn't sure how this show was meant for them. I mean that nightmare! That scared me, and if that scared me I'm sure a lot of foals would be scared too...well, some of them...okay maybe not that many...but it was real scary.
Then there were these strange weapons which I heard was a bit of a taboo in your society...if they were truly a taboo, how come they were in this show? I think you call them guns. I wouldn't want something like swords or knives to be in plays meant for foals here, it'd be very bad...the message behind it (well only if they were actually used and someone uhm...died...or something because I'm sure the foals are smart enough to know what they do but...still)...it'd be kind of...uhm, negative don't you think? Oh but I don't mean this show is bad or anything, I just thought that was odd. ...I hope I'm not the only one who noticed that...
Uhm...there was also a pipe in the show...smoked by the bad monkey. (I could go into whole tangent about the poor monkey but that'd be unnecessary here I think...and I wouldn't want to waste your time...unless I already am? Oh no! I should probably stop now...)
----
Well I stopped here. Mostly because trying to get Fluttershy to comment about a human TV show in our human society with our POV despite her POV obviously being one of a pony raised in Ponyville/Cloudsdale is rather hard to do. But I'm basically saying Cootie Gras had A LOT OF STUFF that got through the radar I did not catch in my last PPG review which was forever ago. (Why am I doing this you ask? I recently bought the boxset. So I'm watching them again in proper order without having to go download all of them or something P: )
Oh yeah I also stopped there because I wanted to comment about the implied prison rape at the end. (When the narrator says "Love is in the air" with Mojo in a cell next to a guy looking VERY INTERESTED in him) and using Fluttershy to do that would be...yeah, derp. Also there are a lot of guns shown all over the place, which is unlike the neon red-coloured guns I remembered in that toy-stealing episode. So before that episode PPG was allowed to use guns (and even have them being shot with realistic sound effects) in a CHILDREN'S TV SHOW. Totally Spies for example, has really strange looking high-tech guns that ALWAYS shoot with goofy-laser sound effects. It's amazing how time changes the standards of cartoon. SO DISREGARDING THIS COP OUT INTERRUPTION LET US RETURN TO OUR SCHEDULED PONY.
----
I just want to say that uhm....there is one aspect of the show I don't enjoy that much. I mean, if you enjoy it that's okay but I didn't realize that Townsville...required so much violence to solve everything. I suppose they don't really have the stare that I have but surely there is some other way to solve the problems there? Even that bad monkey...how does he escape constantly anyway? There needs to be some proper rehabilitation programs put in for him. He was so cute as a baby...
*Angel kicks Fluttershy*
Er, well moving on from that irrelevant point. I apologize for going off-topic so much, but the next show I saw was "Pet Feud"...oh I already knew what was going to happen when I saw that cute red creature called Bebo...reminded me so much of those horrible parasprites. Oh but those parasprites were so cute...I kind of miss them right now, but I know Pinkie and the others would not be happy if I brought them back. If only there was a way they couldn't multiply like so...I don't really like the conclusion though...having that many Bebos eating everything...I mean I'm sure all those humans are responsible enough to take care of them...but oh dear, I hope I do not make anypony unhappy with this comment, it's just from my observations. From previous shows I notice that the citizens are just a little competence-challenged... so I mean, even if they all really want one of those cute little Bebos...oh I would want them too, a whole new parasprite-like invasion could happen and I wouldn't want that to happen, especially how the main characters usually solve problems--
*kicked again*
Oh yes, I hope you see the point. I rambled a little too much there, but I'm quite worried with that situation...
----
I also want to add I saw a lot of plotholes. I'd have Fluttershy say it but she makes everything too long since she apologizes constantly, ololol. But stuff like Cootie Gras where they're thrown into the pit...why couldn't they fly out? Or in Speed Demon...flying really fast launches you into the future sure, but how does doing the same thing going the other direction throw you back in time!? Or I dunno, my knowledge of temporal mechanics suck. Well, returning to our ponies...
----
The next show I watched was Speed Demon and...oh dear this was a really....really...really scary one. I closed my eyes for most of it, so I wouldn't be able to tell you what exactly happened. Uhm, but I don't want to let you down or anything....oh I know, I think Rainbow Dash saw it too, hold on...
...
....
Yo! Rainbow Dash here! Apparently Fluttershy was too chicken for this one, so I guess I gotta be the one to type this here. She told...well, more like she softly asked really nicely (ugh, sometimes that pegasus...) to type coherently with proper grammar and whatnot...I don't see the point of that, just wastes time and takes more effort but whatever. But yeah, this one gave me a lot of speculation, I wonder if I could travel that fast into the future! That'd be totally awesome! All I've done is break the sound barrier, but if you can actually TRAVEL TO THE FUTURE, oh maybe future me is already in the Wonderbolts! I GOTTA GO SEE!!
....
Uh, Rainbow Dash kind of flew off. Uh...I don't know if anypony else saw this one...so...and I don't really want to bother any other pony oh wait, I think Twilight's at the door.
....
Salutations! I found out what Fluttershy was doing and just had to join in! First I have to tell you all about the grievous inaccuracies of the temporal mechanics in this episode. I mean to travel fifty years into the future just like that is far too simplified and...what are such shows teaching our foals these days? To feed them with downright incorrect facts is preposterous! And
----
I'm sorry I can't write Twilight. I'm not smart enough. But here's this really awesome ask blog drawn/written by a person MOST CERTAINLY INTELLIGENT ENOUGH...favourite Twilight ever.
----
....meep.
Okay...I finally watched Speed Demon...because Rainbow Dash mysteriously vanished and Twilight turned my review into a scientific essay...I couldn't find anypony else who watched it so...it was really...frightening.
Yeah. The red...demon thing reminded me of Discord and I really really...well I'd hate to use such a strong word but Discord is just so....well I really dislike him, and this red...creature was even scarier than Discord. I just wanted to hide under my pillow fort forever...
But I mean the future is....it's so....okay I lied I turned it off halfway through...*squeak*. I'm sorry I can't bring you the review for this one....are you sure this show is for foals? Even they would be terrified...actually perhaps if I show them this I can know for sure...oh but I wouldn't want to scare them....!
.....

*This is where Fluttershy begins proofreading the CMC's review*
Anyway we watched this episode and it was SUPER AWESOME! Wow they fly so fast. I want to fly as fast as them! Scootaloo quit hogging the keyboard! No way I'm not finished! Give it here I want to give them my opinions as well! Stop it! No you stop it! No you! Why are we typing out our argument? I dunno. We should probably stop doing that. YEAH! Use our mouths! No YOU use your mouth! I'm typing! Look, ma only one hoof! Quit it, you're taking too long with one hoof! No you! NO YOU! Hello...this is Fluttershy. Uhm, I apologize for the delay for this review, the CMC kind of broke...my keyboard, but I did get their opinions on Speed Demon so I'll just paraphrase for you if it's okay. There might be a few inaccuracies because my memory isn't perfect, but I do hope that's good enough for you.
Scootaloo told me it was "really awesome" and the green blob thing (I think she means Buttercup) is her idol, and she didn't think it was that scary, more like some sort of cool zombie-pony thriller or the like. She wished it was longer. Sweetie Belle got confused during the time-travelling section and had no more to comment, and Applebloom was impressed that fiction aimed at younger foals weren't afraid to jump into other genres of entertainment unlike many other plays she's seen that seems to look down upon her intelligence as if she had the brain of a sponge. She especially enjoyed the implications of three very important superheroes being missing for such a prolonged length of time, and wondered what it would have been like had our princesses went missing for a long time as well. Someone like Discord surely could've ruled over Equestria with the iron fist of chaos easily all those years ago. She gave it 4 stars our of 5.
I do hope that was adequate enough for you so I can now move on, but if it isn't...please tell me and I'll be sure to get more opinion but I kind of want to speak of other shows...and I apologize if...
*hit in the face with carrot*
Okay Angel I'm sorry I'll stop apologizing, oh wait...uh, sorry for apolo---oh nuts.

COPOUT #3
I am terrible writer, but Something's a Ms. had a lot of sexual innuendo which again would be odd for a pony, especially one like Fluttershy to point out. Anyway I must be honest I never really gave this episode much high regard and re-watched it very little, but wow seeing it again today my opinion is pretty different. People usually cite the Mayor as a lost cause because he was listening to white noise as music in this episode, but there were a lot of non-retarded things he did, like thinking about firing Ms. Bellum when she never showed up for work despite being wooed the other times with her sexuality, so that was actually really cool, and also acknowledging that he is incompetent...not being able to do anything without his trusty assistant. I really liked that.
The girls too did not act retarded like some episodes occasionally paint them as (not as ridiculous as the Mayor/the citizens however) by actually figuring out Sedusa's plan. I thought it was all pretty intelligent. Sara Bellum also had a Crowning Moment of Awesome, so that's pretty cool. The catfight with the outfits they wore and ESPECIALLY that sharpener scene...dear god that sharpener scene. I have NO IDEA how that scene got past the snooty prudey censory people because HOLY CRAP ARE YOU SURE THIS IS A KIDS SHOW. You must see the sharpener scene to know what I mean. I literally O_O at it. Also at one point Sedusa threw her pads (used to stuff her chest to look like Bellum) AT Blossom. I can get the address as a ninja-reference to sex but damn this episode was really out there. I mean the Mayor decides to visit her at prison afterwards... O_O
Also the DON'T DO DRUGS PSA episode was awful. Not only that but the affected kids represented many different people like an Asian kid, a fat kid, a handicapped kid, a black kid....that was far too politically correct for me. Anyway Fluttershy shall do the last episode of season two with you, hopefully with no more cop outs! Yay.
----
So this next one is...a slumberparty called Slumbering with the Enemy. I heard a few of my friends had one a few weeks ago, but wow...I didn't expect a slumberparty to consist of so many different activities...it was really quite surprising. Although...I wouldn't want to go one...not because it doesn't look fun because oh it absolutely completely looks fun, but I found it a bit crowded and...that many ponies in one place would be a little...unsettling, I mean it's just me and all...
Well, otherwise I...don't really have much to say. The dancing looked reminiscent of...another show I heard of, Charlie Brown I think? Oh I hope there are more shows with actual ponies in them, these human creatures, though very cute are for some reason really, really widespread. I'm not entirely sure why, perhaps where these magical boxes come from, are a place entirely populated by the human creatures and ponies do not exist, or are at least few in number in comparison? I hope the humans are at least very nice to the ponies, if we exist there too.
I think that is all. I really hope you enjoyed all this, but uhm, if you don't that's okay, and if that's the case I'm sorry to have wasted your time.
~ Fluttershy
----
Okay so you're probably wondering WHY I wrote that all in Fluttershy. Well I was wondering how hard it would be to write her character because sometimes I say things like "IF IT'S OKAY WITH YOU" so I figure it might actually be easy, but Fluttershy is more than just an over-apologetic shy pony so maybe I made her seem too one-dimensional here. I don't know. I thought it'd be fun too, rather than just boring linear rambling of the second half of season two. I'll do a proper season three review next time because I'm taking quite a long time to go through the boxset. There really is tons of material for such a price! It really is worth it!
Also the other reason I did it in Fluttershy is because I unfortunately ran into Rule 34 Fluttershy the other day and it is completely ruining the character for me. I just can't get the image out of my head. I mean, I've read and seen Cupcakes Pinkie but it does nothing to me, but ugh...the Rule 34 Fluttershy. Such innocence should not be tainted like that and yet it was....gah. I fucking hate the internet sometimes. I thought I was tougher than this too. @_@ HOW TO BRAIN BLEACH!? HOW TO UNSEE!? HALP ME UNSEEEEEE
(Also if you want to know HOW I ran into Rule 34 Fluttershy...TUMBLRS DON'T SEEM TO HAVE FILTERS IN CASE CHILDREN ARE BROWSING, a lot of Ask Blogs are NSFW before you enter them and some people re-blog things from NSFW places you don't expect. ARGH. So just a forewarning, there are a lot of tumblrs out there that isn't safe for work. Sigh.)
So I hoped writing her will help. It kind of hasn't, but hopefully over time (or her appearing in a bloody episode! She's been missing for two weeks!) will help. Seriously. @_@
EXTRA STUFF!
I drew this while going through the first season:
I also took a video of some crazy weather the other day:
Otherwise that is all and thanks for reading! :D
