Because I have a lot of spare time and no life, I often like realizing the patterns of things I like.
Not that Math is good.
One of those things that I realized yesterday was betrayal. Yes, I like characters who betray. (Or those who were bad at first) Rei did it. (G Revolution, leaving the team for the White Tigers, and he actually CHOSE to, unlike Max who's a mama's boy) He was ALSO kind of the "enemy" at first, you know, beginning in the first season, being a cocky ass to Takao? Yes indeed.
Li also did it, but only for the greater good, which may not fit. So...probably being bad at first works better here.
I don't really count Naruto characters, as it wasn't that much of a fandom then, but Neji...kind of counts? Hm.
Games don't work as characters have no personality, which leaves out that. (Unless the LF comic ends up like that, then daaaaaaaaaaaamn. >>)
And obviously...as I was rereading the manga of Negima, I noticed the pattern has continued. ;)
Technically, Kazumi was "an antagonist" in her own chapter (but that's an exaggerated thing to say, I suppose) since she almost ended up making everybody aware of magic using her mobile phone "FOR THE WORLD TO SEE!!!" (God I love that quote, XDDD)
Secondly, after joining forces with Negi (mostly due to Chamo, if that ermine wasn't there she'd be enemy #1 by now, xD) and after several chapters...yes, she does "betray" (I think it ISN'T exaggeration here now)
And yes, because Kazumi is such a badass, I will now show where that happens in this nifty little LJ-cut.
And the thing is, instead of being bashed for liking an anime because it's kiddish, people may think I'm a pervert since so many people assume Negima to be a hentai manga. xDDD
Extra-bonus thing:

IS SMEX.
Quote of Kirami to this picture:
"Holeh shit! I'd lesbian her any day 8D"
Yes, I DO realize nobody reads this stuff, but it's very fun to write, no? =DDD
I shall now continue with my miserable life. KTHXBUHBAI, I hope I dream of shoujo-ai! :D

This is where she joins the evil that is Chao. =P (Plus while the scan looks very good in terms of quality nobody calls Kazumi "Kazumi" at ALL besides Sakurako, Ayaka, and Chizuru.) I'd replace Kazumi with Asakura, (and of course the 'san').

And of course, she goes and backstabs CHAO, too. Asakura is so cool. 8D

I seem to be attracted to characters who aren't serious nor super-fun, but both. =P Add in a pairing that works, and the Anime will be very successful in terms of Spotto Fandom. Also, giving them unique looks like awesome hair and cool eye colour works too. :D
(And the fanservice is nice too. I remember going insane when they showed Rei with no shirt on, xDDDD) Now I just see Asakura nekkid a lot, XDDD !!!
So the patterns seem to be these:
NOT A MAIN CHARACTER.
FUN-LOVING PERSON.
WHO'S ALSO SERIOUS AT TIMES. (I think the reason why I jumped into Max is because Rei started getting...too serious and Max did have serious moments as well)
UNIQUE LOOK.
WITHIN A PAIRING THAT IS GENERALLY SUPPORTED BUT NOT THE MOST POPULAR BY FAR.
Etc. Having found more patterns. (Or forgot them, yeah, let's go with that)
