"Where be Julie?" "THE JUBILEE!"

First time I went on that scary, crickety VERY DANGEROUS wooden roller coaster. It's plank by plank, and the only thing securing you in the seat is this black rod thing you have to hold very tightly. Anyway, I went on it with...I will say friend's names now, pronouns are the suck. xP I went on it with Julie because Sam and Sonia went to one of the many haunted houses. (They didn't go with us) We waited like a hour, and got on to the highest roller coaster of the place, and you know what happened? BOOM! We went FLYING DOWN, FLYING UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, and the seat in front of me was like made of stone, and my knee came up because this was my first time, and SMASHED into the stone as the coaster WENT STRAIGHT DOWN, which brought LOTS OF FORCE onto my knee into the stone.
So it hurts right now, but otherwise that ride was awesome 0 G IS SCARY. It's supposed to be THE BIGGEST WOODEN ROLLER COASTER IN CANADA, SECOND BIGGEST OF NORTH AMERICA. (One in California is bigger) ANd it's like FIFTY YEARS OLD and feels VERY UNSTABLE to make it seem more DANGEROUS. Someone fell out of it before, in its 50 years of life...=P
We went on the Corkscrew twice! Both times Sam and Sonia were in the front, me and Julie were behind them. The corkscrew is another roller coaster (RED!) that has loop-de-loops so we can go upside-down on this one. Our heads banged back and forth on the shoulder things that were on us. I love this ride, it's one of my favourites, =)
MY MOST FAVOURITE, the FLUME, AKA LOG RIDE, was closed, since it wasn't summer. >=( I wanna get wet anyway...=(
I wanted to go on Hell's gate, an upside down-type of ride, but it costed money apparently. (But then I read my card thing and it said only the Hellevator and the Revelation costed money, did we miss it for no reason?! O_o) Let me describe all the rides and why I went on it or didn't.
WOODEN ROLLER COASTER:
Rode it? # of times?: Yes, once.
Fun?: Yes
Why?: It's a roller coaster, roller coasters are not supposed to be boring unless it goes really slow or throws you off. xP
Anything Unpleasant? If yes, what?: Yes, knee smashing up on the front seat.
Description: VERY BIG, very WOODISH, very DANGEROUS, very HIGH, very STEEP, very HURTISH, very WOBBLY...etc. We were at the highest point of the whole place, minus maybe the Hellevator.
CORKSCREW:
Rode it? # of times?: Yes, twice.
Fun?: Yes
Why?: OMG A ROLLER COASTER THAT GOES UPSIDE-DOWN! And, it stops for a few minutes at the end before it goes to where you originally got in, so you can relax a bit in the sky, and it's very comforting. =)
Anything Unpleasant? If yes, what?: Yes, head smashing side by side. Lol, very funneh though, and it stops at the end before we got off, for a nice view.
Description: Very LOOP-DE-LOOP-ish! On the first ride I screamed loudly, "GOD SAVE US!!!" before we SANK DOWN LIKE SUPER FAST. On the 2nd time these guys behind us were making native indian chants, screaming like so throughout the WHOLE RIDE. It was HILARIOUS, and I kept telling Julie that if I die she could have my computer, TV, etc. It was extremely awesome. I said GOOOO CANUCKS! On the 2nd time (They won too, today, I missed a pretty good game, oh well)
MUSIC RIDE THINGY:
Rode it? # of times?: Yes, once, but wanted to ride it again. =(
Fun?: VERY YES
Why?: IT'S SOOOOOO FAST, it's just COMPLEEEETELY FUN, it doesn't NEED roller coaster steep falls, because it just goes SOOO fast that you LAUGH SO HARD!
Anything Unpleasant?: Julie sat in the inside, so when we went REALLY fast on the sharp turns...well, she leaned into me...and that didn't feel too good, xD
Description: It's a ride that goes in circles with soft hill-ish parts, what can go REALLY fast depending on the beat of the music. Twice will the ride go SUPER-DUPER FAST, so DAMNED fast, I was SCREAMING my head off, this RIDE IS REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY FUUUUNNN!!! =DDDDDDD
THE PIRATE:
Rode it? # of times?: Yes, once, will never ride it again.
Fun?: N.O.
Why?: I got sick on this....-_-
Anything Unpleasant?: I got really dizzy, it's one of those GIANT SWINGING THINGS, things that go back and forth make me feel bad. SO I didn't like it too much.
Description: It IS fun, except I can't take rides like these, if I could I would. I had tears coming out of my eyes after this, and I felt very odd. O_O
THE SWINGER:
Rode it? # of times?: Yes, once, HATE IT HATE IT!
Fun?: Obviously not.
Why?: It's not very "thrilling" it goes around in circles slowly...and you're in the air...and it made me sick...because it's a swing. xD
Anything Unpleasant?: It's NOOOOOOT fun.
Description: Giant humongous twirling swing, can do the same with a tire swing.
HELLEVATOR:
Rode it? # of times?: No, none.
Fun?: Wasn't on it, looked fun though.
Why?: It costed MONEH...>< I had no moneh. And not a lot of people were on it and it's a fairly short ride. Actually REALLY short, going up and down for like 10 seconds. Just not worth it.
Anything Unpleasant?: Yes because I wasn't on it?
Description: A HUUUGE TOWER THING, like that thing in Marine Land in those damned annoying commercials, where it goes ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP, and COMES PLUMMELLING DOWN, only stopping inches away from the ground. It's very short though.
HELL'S GATE:
Rode it? # of times?: No, none.
Fun?: IT WOULD'VE BEEN FUN IF WE WENT ON IT...=(
Why?: Also costing money, but I really wanted to go on this one.
Anything Unpleasant?: The fact that I couldn't go on it?
Description: This thing that has a LOT of seats on a big rectangular thing attached to these two metal things, and it goes UPSIDE DOWN and swings around like a crazy thing. In the summer it sprays water at you.
BEACH PARTY:
Rode it? # of times?: No, none.
Fun?: I HATE IT, IT WILL NEVER BE FUN.
Why?: It SWINGS AND SPINS. BOTH COMBINED IS incredibly EVVVVILLLL
Anything Unpleasant?: EVERYTHING.
Description: Agh, a giant wheel thing that spins around asit swings back and forth. I forever will hate this ride.
THE FLUME:
Rode it? # of times?: No, none, once in summer though.
Fun?: IT IS ALWAYS FUN, =P But closed due to not being summer...=(
Why?: It's a LOG RIDE! It's WET AND AMAZING!!! How can it NOT BE FUN?!
Anything Unpleasant?: NOTHING
Description: A log goes down two slides, one shorter, the other bigger. AND YOU CAN GET YOUR PICTURE TAKEN!!
Other rides I neglected to mention:
Revelation (Costs money, very scary)
Drop Zone (Costs MORE money than anything else, also very scary)
All the kid rides (They're down for Halloween, only big scary rides and the crappy SWINGER is up)
Thus was Playland, POGO is teh awesome, legs still hurt.
