spotto: (Ah! Kawaii desu wa!!!!!)

It does!
spotto: (Hail KazumixSayo!)
The people at a *certain* forum apparently removed all the clubs (except Konosetsu, *cough*) INCLUDING the Kazumi/Sayo one, one of the places I get my fanart from (the other place has more, so it shouldn't really matter except the other place is NOT English, thus I cannot understand it while in this one I COULD, except now it's gone because they happen to be "spam" but there were lots of good goodies there, and spam happens often EVERYWHERE, so if they wanted to remove places because of spam, why don't they close down the FORUM?!)

Thus triggers my creation of this avatar, no it will not make Aoi happy, but 'tis my opinion. *nodnod*

ALSO, I am in search of NegiPack 6, it contains a Kazumi and Sayo duet! (Let's hope it's as good as Seinaru Sora no Shita De, except I doubt it'd be as "shoujo-ai-ish" for lack of better terms, -_-)  RAWR. Spot dislikes ALL overrated things! I look forward to the 2 Momoko episodes in the next two weeks, xD.

Yesterday we went to buy "non-marked" shoes, and then I realized I was WEARING some, but the teacher said they WEREN'T non-marked shoes, in which is needed to play Squash, a game I am going to on a field trip tomorrow and the court does not allow MARKED shoes. So now I am confused and paranoid as to if I own the right shoes, and I can't contact my friends because I need to follow them to the court, as I lost the map TO there, so I am kind of in trouble but I think going to the school early and finding SOME classmates there will help me.

Anyway, I went to bed last night...er, this morning at 8am. And was rudely awoken 3 hours later to Dim Sum, so I figured, "If I lose sleep going to eat at some restaurant, then this restaurant better be GOOD." Turns out it was a place I've never eaten at before, so because I lacked sleep and was in a bad mood, my expectations for it were extremely high. Let's just say that wasn't the best place to eat:

First, when we got there, we had to line up. Now I know everybody lines up everywhere, but I usually compare the sizes of waiting, and we had to wait a whole fifteen minutes of nothingness (actually me and my brother went to blockbuster across the street to wait). When we got our table, the chairs were hideous, we bumped into a few annoying friends of my parent's (whom I either never heard of or hate with a burning passion, mind you) which bumped their points even MORE down, not to mention I saw my CLASSMATE there, AND it was incredibly CROWDED, the tables were practically squooshed together!

So after that, we ordered the food, which was basically checking it off the paper. I like it better when they push the carts around actually, since it seems to have more variety that way. There was barely any of the usual foods we had in Dim Sums on the list, so that annoyed me as well.

After waiting a million years to get a seat, we had to wait another million years for the food to come in which we met a million more friends that happened to come to the same restaurant. Not only did we have to argue to get a table, because we were obviously there first and not that Hong Kong impatient family (forgive the generalization) that JUST CAME IN! So after a while the food finally came...which was dessert first, the egg tarts. Now these egg-tarts did not look golden or crispy at all, which they should've been as they always are. So I took a bite and it wasn't bad, but it was missing the crunchyness and the GOLDEN COLOUR!

Later on more stuff came and finally the congee came. Quite surprisingly the congee was good, but it was not the usual flavour one would taste in usual Dim Sum's like my family would usually do, in fact after a bowl did I learn that the "meaty" stuff inside was actually "expensive" giant snails. YES SNAILS. I ATE SNAILS PEOPLE. It tasted weird, but the congee itself was delicious, however this was the first time I came upon a restaurant that would serve giant snail congee. Continuing on, finally the plate I was waiting for came, the shrimp dumpling.

Except it did NOT look like the shrimp dumpling, turns out we ordered some sort of alternated version of shrimp dumpling, and it tasted like crap. The whole piece of ball was a piece of CRAP. It was disgusting and in a very horrid colour, yellow. I hated that, this was it's one chance for the restaurant to redeem itself and it miserably failed pathetically. Finally, the pork rice came, which didn't come with a plate and had chicken feet on it. I don't know about you but almost all the time the rice usually comes WITHOUT the chicken feet, and if it IS there then the taste will drastically change. Not that I minded actually, since I ate like 3 bowls of the stuff due to me not eating much of the food there since it sucked.

In the end, the price was decent, however I would never pay that amount for the incredibly stupid service, and its fake popularity the restaurant had. I guess if I wasn't rudely awoken with a mere 3 hours of sleep, my evaluation of such a restaurant would be for the better, but it was not the case.

So my final result for this restaurant, is 2 stars out of 5. If you live near the restaurant and have no transportation or willpower to go far to eat out, I guess this will do for you for a bit.

According to the "next time on Negima" before the crack humour shorts, episode 19 is something BY KAZUMI. Then Sayo pops out of nowhere. The thing I find interesting is that in the original Negima anime, episode 19 was also about Kazumi and Sayo, but because the last few episodes that were named BY SOMEONE, the show was never centered around that particular SOMEONE. I was quite disappointed by this episode's lack of focus on Chiu (besides the end), since it was a BY CHIU episode. The only thing it made up for it was the various Kazumi and Sayo shots, Negi blowing up, Asuna's hair going haywire, Yue's antenna twitching, and suka Konoka and Setsuna. So basically I'm expecting little coverage of the two, however the "preview" was pretty cool, although short.

I wonder when the Baka Rangers will return, =P

And the other thing is the two Momoko episodes obviously. I'm more excited about "running away Momoko" than "Momoko falls in love for the 59th time" but we'll see what happens until NEXT WEEK! Until then, this has been Spoticus L. Sock who wants a t-shirt that has "SPOT" the number 9, and is white with actual black spots all over it. So Ja Ne!

PS: SAYO'S SEIYUU IS 39!!! THE OLDEST OF THE WHOLE CLASS, AND THE IRONIC THING IS EVA'S SEIYUU IS 36, AND THESE TWO CHARACTERS ARE LIKE THE OLDEST IN 3-A!!!! And Kazumi's seiyuu (25) is a rookie, this is her first works, which is cool because her voice is absolutely awesome, almost as good as Yue's! (29) So to the commentor who said all the seiyuu's were teens, you must be good to women if you think they're younger than they actually are
