Here yee bes!
Feb. 26th, 2007 03:51 pmLookie! A rare post about...*gasp*...MY LIFE!
Okay, so today we had course-planning in very lonely English class. (Yes, it is very lonely when you're one of the only two people who sit beside the opposite gender whom is NOT your boyfriend) Next year, 12th grade, is our last year of high school, secondary school, whatever you people call it. Anyway, I needed 3 provincial courses and everything else could've been electives (granted that if Psychology 12, which I am taking this year, counts for the 4th thing needed) Anyway, I was torn between a few courses...
They are:
English 12 (which is a definite course I have to take to graduate)
-
Math 12
Biology 12
French 12
History 12
Geography 12
Geology 12
Writing 12
Japanese 11
Graphics 11C
PE Girls 11 (again)
Yoga for Life
Now I can only have 8, so since English is a MUST (and even if it wasn't I'd take it anyway, I love English) 7 of the above.
This is what I have decided after weeks of, IS MY FRIEND TAKING THE COURSE TOO SO I WON'T BE ALONE? and ARE THE TEACHERS GOOD? and IS THIS COURSE CRAP, HARD, OR BORING?
Well, time to rate.
F = Friend taking too
G = Good teachers
X = Crap/boring/hard
Math 12 FX
Biology 12 FGX
French 12 FX
History 12 FX
Geography 12 FX
Geology 12 ?
Writing 12 FG
Japanese 11 F? G
Graphics 11C F
PE Girls 11 (again) FG
Yoga for Life FG
Only one friend takes Japanese with me (and is only a maybe on taking it next year) (the others are a level up and are finished the Japanese course this year), NOBODY takes Geology, Geography is dead boring, Math and French are H-E-L-L, History is DEATHLY HARD, Writing is fun, Graphics is fun too, but the teacher is a bastard, PE Girls and Yoga is the same teacher, who is nice but has her flaws.
SO, after much speculating, I have decided to take these courses:
English 12 (duh)
Biology 12
Geography 12 (this is a maybe, if my friend takes this, I will, and we will be the only ones in the friend group, if not, it's history)
Writing 12
Japanese 11
Graphics 11C (C means third year, BTW)
PE Girls 11
Yoga for Life
Yes people, I AM DROPPING MATHS AND FRENCH, and yes, I CAN, and yes, I CAN STILL GET INTO THE UNIVERSITY OF MY CHOICE (besides the best one, UBC, but I hate that place) and yes, I AM TAKING TWO PHYSICAL EDUCATION COURSES, OMGZ. I can drop French because I have JAPANESE as my other language, and two isn't entirely needed. I can drop Math because...Math sucks, and...yeah. I'm choosing Geography over History for the sake of laziness, but if nobody is in there but me, then I shall take History with other friends. Nobody takes Geology so I doubt it'll even be an available course by 12th year, xP.
I actually despise French like 95 billion times more than Math. I mean I hate Math, and the teacher isn't really good, but at least he's NICE. The French teacher is a total bitch. Picks on you everyday about 8 times, and then yells at you, and she's incredibly scary. I know she's retiring this year, but the younger teachers who idolize her are turning into mini-me versions of her. Kind of like some horrific Harper to Bush thing we have in the government. >><<>>
Yesh, that isth my plan. That is all.
Random Pairing of the Entry: Yue/Chisame (O_o, there's actually a fanart of this...>><<>>)
