I just finished arguing with my dad on how the NHL ranks teams. He said by points, which is true, BUT the top three are ranked accordingly to whoever is the top of the division, and he still used points. The Canucks are 6 points behind the Red Wings, so logically, the Canucks would be behind the Red Wings, he said. However, the Red Wings is only second in its division, which the Predators are first, whom are also first in the whole conference. He kept saying the 'Nucks were #4, when in fact the Red Wings are, because the Canucks are on top of our division. It took a long while (plus my mom agreeing with me, lol) and then he finally was, "Alright, you're right, I'm wrong" because I raised my voice really loudly. I know it's not a big deal but I'm very nitpicky at my parents' hockey knowledge.
It took forever to explain to them why the goalie leaves the net whenever there is a delayed penalty being called. They were like, "WTF is the net empty?" Well dad, because the goalie leaves to the bench for a 6th player, and our team keeps possession of the puck for a 6-on-5, until the opposition touches the puck, which triggers the penalty call, where it becomes a 5-on-4. That way they cannot score on our empty net, the only way they can is if our team is stupid and scores on themselves. (Which nearly happened once, that was close, O_o)
Anyway, the 'Nucks beat the Sharks today in overtime, 2-1. It was a good game, very fast-paced and exciting. They tried to trample Luongo's head (his helmet was knocked off) and Nabokov was doing really well. Luckily we're the kings in overtime and won that fairly quickly. Last game we beat the 'Yotes 4-2 with Sabourin in net. Yes, my current favourite players of the Canucks is Brent Sopel and Dany Sabourin. Which is weird because they aren't long time 'Nucks like Linden or Naslund. (Unless of course you're a top 3 goalie of the world that just got traded here and is being paid more than 6 million per year, ala Luongo) However I tend to like backups (except Noronen, I hated him badly, he might've been better skill-wise than Auld but Auld was doing awesome and he...was dumb.) and Sopel has cool hair (LOL, people hate his hair, I like his mullet for some reason) Also, Sopel is a good defensemen, =P
It's like last year I was all AULD AND CARNEY. And Carney came at the trade deadline (like Sopel) while Auld was the backup (until Cloutier became dumb and injured himself like for the millionth time) Now Carney...I don't like him too much, mostly because he's in another Northwest Division team, so we see his face on the opposition all the time and stopping us from making plays. Auld on the other hand I rarely ever see so just lack of seeing him is downing his likeliness anyway. I hope Sopel stays here, he loves the 'Nucks anyway. I doubt Sabourin will though, just because a goalie wouldn't really like to play 4 games a year due to us having a superstar goaltender for the next four years. (Luongo)
If Sabourin does leave, I think he should stay in the West so I see him enough, but not in the Northwest Division or we'll start hating his guts for being the enemy over 25% of the time. So perhaps either the Red Wings (I don't see him in a red jersey though, doesn't suit him and his pretty goalie mask) Nashville (I kind of hate this team, so no) Ducks (They don't really have a goaltending situation there) Sharks (here either) Chicago (again, the red jersey) Blues (I hate this team too, their goalie has a scary mask and they always beat us) Blue Jackets (Here's a maybe), Kings (Crawford might be dumb and ride on Cloutier if that goalie comes back. Burke is old, Garon would probably stay. I'd love to see Sabourin take over Garon's job, and Garon becomes #1 and Cloutier goes byebye or the juniors or something, lol) Stars (Turco is a prick, enough said, but this is a possibility) or Coyotes (I don't really like Gretzky's style in coaching though)
So I imagine that Sabourin, if he is not to be our backup next year, to be in Columbus or Dallas. Backing up for Turco (I think Hedberg did well here, so...) On second thought, scratch Columbus, they have some alright goalies already. I think Dallas is good for Sabby. He looks best in a 'Nucks jersey though, lol.
It's said that if Sopel stays, Salo will go, but I don't want Salo to go either. In fact I like most of our defenseman right now. Even Krajicek is doing well. If any defenseman goes then Fitzpatrick is going out the door. People were riding on him like usual people do on Chuck Norris or something. Pity he didn't get into the All Stars game when he had tons of votes. I mostly like the defenseman and goaltenders, the forwards are cool too but most people like them the best. Remember, Spotto-Zotto is the person who likes the underrated.

Spoticus wishes for Kazumi/Sayo fanart, xD. I'm starting to be deprived. I'm tempted to listen to Egao no Hana multiple times but then the charm of the song will die. I can only listen to it occasionally, out of my nearly-200 songs. (YAY!) Also...
Either Norton sucks, or my computer is awesome. I'm hoping it's the latter.
I do not have any spyware-remover software nor do I use Norton often AT ALL. So...I've done nothing to check or get rid of bad stuff since I got this computer. =P I'm proud, it was this stuff that killed my last computer.
I am surprised though, usually spyware comes along when you accidentally bump into hentai. xD I'm not doing any fanart hunting lately. Also, know my Albert Chamomile the perverted ermine wristband? I have not taken it off yet, I sleep with it on my wrist. xD I'm lazy. Obviously I take it off in showers though, keep it nice and dry except for sweat.
Spot will definitely get more Negima merchandise, just you wait. The lack of K/S fanarts on my wall is made up by the Kazumi and Sayo figumate currently in a shoujo-ai-ish position on top of my TV. And my dad just came into my room, saw Kazumi and Sayo not in the same standing position as the other figumates, touched them, and snapped off Kazumi's arm. Also it was hard to put them in that position. HE ABUSED KAZUMI! OOO:
SPOTTO L. SOKKO CONTINUES TO WRITE THE ONESHOT! (Farm story on hold) It will be a very long oneshot. O_o
