Hmmm...

There's a rumour (several Japanese blogs, and a few sites seem to confirm this but I'm not calling it true until Akamatsu's site says it or something) that there will be a Live Action of Negima. It's apparently a drama.

Is Negima that insanely popular to have had two Animes, another manga based on it, and now a Live Action? WILL THERE BE A MOVIE!? (Unless the OVA's count, which I don't really want to count them) For some reason I'm expecting the Live Action to have a lot of hot Japanese girls (unless they scrap the whole fanservice idea of the manga) but it's called a Drama, so it's possible that the storyline will be...different from usual ones that deal with skanky females.

Ah well, if it is true it'd be nice to see who the actresses are. 31 girls to find and act, that'd be interesting to see how Setsuna and Konoka work out. Also, a 10 year old boy as Negi, who will take up such a role? Will they find a girl with heterochromia or will Asuna's actress just wear contacts? How would they pull off certain hairstyles? Will they keep the antennas? Or will it be like the Sailor Moon live action where everybody has the same colour hair? (I would hate for that to happen, ><, hair colour is a very prominent thing in manga and anime...) WILL THEY WEAR WIGS!? O_O

Will Chachamaru be an actual robot? (Probably not, xD), wonder how they'll pull off Eva and Sayo. So many questions and so little answers...

Of course, most importantly to biased Spot, what will happen to the character known as Asakura Kazumi!?

As you can see, I just finished watching episode 24 of Negima!? I don't really have much to say about it actually.

First off, the animation was good as always, but the art was subpar at best. People's anatomy were odd, and there were strangely drawn heads. It's like someone else drew this...

Also, the person who usually uploads this stuff on Youtube hasn't yet, so I actually downloaded this episode hearing someone say "Mass Pactio" which actually wasn't true. The closest to that was when some sort of magic summoned all the girls to "the illusion world" Negi and Anya as in, and they turned into their talking Armor cards (besides Zazie, who was hilariously a suka) to shield Negi from a MASENKO-LIKE attack from Anya. You didn't get to see all the cards, only a few of them. I guess the other "high point" of this not too exciting episode was this part: (click for full screenshot)



ZOMG SAYO IS AN ANGEL IN ARMOR FORM! There's wings and a halo! Bwahaha, now Secchan isn't the only one with the awesome wings. Also, since Sayo doesn't eat, she'd probably be in armor form forever, xD. (That is a plot hole, yes it is) (Since you go back to your original form once you get hungry) Sayo's armor and cosplay (and suka too I think, O_o) haven't been released yet, Kazumi's armor and cosplay hasn't either. (But the chocobo is out! xP) Yet we do get to see her pretty armor card in episode 14:



My only problem with it (because obviously the very sexy Kazumi is sexy up there, xDD) is the hair. It's like the DBZ creator drew it. Why is it so spiky? I know her hair is supposed to be spiky, but not THAT spiky. I can't even see the lock of hair that's always hanging down on the right of her face! Or perhaps the lighting in the episode affected the card and that's why it looks like that? I dunno. Oh yeah, my other problem with it is the number 60 on the bottom right corner. The higher the number it is the closer you are to Negi and apparently the "stronger" the card is. I don't know, it hasn't been proven. Asuna, Nodoka, etc. are like 90's. In fact I haven't SEEN such a low number until this one. In other words, this isn't exactly a very strong pactio form...hmm. I hope I'm wrong actually, but anyway, both cards I give an A grade besides the number.

We won't know until they release that card. (WHICH I WANT VERY MUCH AND THE SAYO ONE) However if this crappy preview is like the same on the real card (but obviously bigger and clearer) then wow, there's CHOCOBO Kazumi and SUPER SAIYAN Kazumi, I can't imagine what her cosplay is like. I dunno, GUNDAM pilot Kazumi? xD
