The live performance of "Girls, Be Ambitious" is by far the worst live performance of them all in the Dai Mahorasai.
And I seriously want to know why Sasagawa Ayana changed her name to Eri. Srsly.
Oh so disappointing, so very disappointing.
Glad Asakura didn't ONLY sing that song. (Actually, thank god she didn't)
And why is the song called "Girls, Be Ambitious"? I know Kazumi is ambitious, but how exactly are Chizuru, Natsumi, and Zazie ambitious? O_o. Srsly, it's not very fair for them since Asakura is the most "major" character of the four, that they sing the song about what KAZUMI is.
It should not be called the Cultural Club, it should be called, "Kazumi Asakura and the Cultural Club!!!!". (considering on the album of their cover, Kazumi takes up 80% of the cover, LOL, I mean it is in fact a very creative album cover, but Asakura is 80% of the cover, and the song there is about Asakura. It shouldn't even be called Kazumi and the Cultural Club, it should be called, "Kazumi Asakura plus three!!!")
As you can see I'm not biased for once, lol.
Nothing wrong with the actual song though. I liked the intro music, then that tacky "wa-wa" music kicked in and the song wasn't what I expected.
Chisame gets her OWN album, and Kazumi is thrown into a blender with some low-lives (Okay, I meant not as important characters), plus, Sayo being grouped with Evangeline and Chachamaru is stupid. If you get grouped with Evangeline, you get a badass rock song. Sadly, Sayo is not badass, so it sounds very weird with her soft voice singing rock. (Plus Maze of the Dark was the worst song of the character CDs, I hated it so much.)
I would've preferred this (obvious) choice: If they threw Kazumi, Chisame, and Sayo together, and MAYBE have Zazie in. Then have Natsumi and Chizuru with Ayaka or something. Why do Chisame and Ayaka need solos? They could have a solo SONG within the album as WELL as a group one (of course that means more singing, lol), so...and personally I think Setsuna or maybe even Nodoka should get solos, seeing as they're major.
If that happened, we could call them the Lonely Quartet because Chisame is definitely a loner, Sayo was alone for 60 frikkin' years, Zazie's pretty much a loner too, Asakura doesn't seem to have close friends before Sayo, just "acquaintances" (what group is she in, huh? >>) , and yeah. Wonder why I like these lonely people. >> Of course, seeing as 3 of these 4 people have n00b seiyuus (as in Negima is their debut, lol) I'd wonder what the concert would be like...lol. Sayo (the only one with a VERY experienced seiyuu) should be guiding them. :P
Zazie's seiyuu is the n00biest of all. She was in the "Girls, be ambitious" song, which sucked, and forgot her lines in the Seat Number Song. All she did was get two lines in the whole Anime too, I feel sorry for her.
