Episode 5 is bloody weird.
Yes, it gives Kazumi lots of character development...but yeesh...it's so...GAH.
It wouldn't have BEEN so weird if Kazumi's actress wasn't ACTING SO GOOD, actually. O_o. WOW.
As since there are absolutely no subs, I have no idea what happened, but the LA just went...WEIRD for me. Not necessarily downhill...just bloody weird.
Okay, when I FIRST started watching it...erm, I dunno what I was expecting, but yeesh.
It starts off as little Kazumi. Who's fucking freaky, I mean seriously. I don't mean the look, but what happened was seriously freaky. Y'know this episode fit just right for Halloween. XD
Okay, so little Kazumi is innocently (Oh yeah, innocent? PSH.) walking down a weird hallway... (construction stuff all over the place) and this weird guy, whom is HIGHLY implied to be a CHILD MOLESTER was creeping up behind her. When he got to her she TURNED around and was aiming her camera at the dood, and then the child molester fell down and his cloak came off and his MASK came off and he was NAKED. AND KAZUMI KEPT TAKING PICTURES OF HIM OR SOMETHING, AND SCARING THE CHILD MOLESTER. WTF.
CHIBI KAZUMI SCARED A CHILD MOLESTER. HOLY HELL.
I mean seriously...and then it goes to Kazumi...you know this whole episode was so bloody weird I can't even REMEMBER what happens next. I mean there was one scene where she opened one of her documents and there was that picture of the naked dood, apparently she published it into a story or something. SO EVEN WHEN SHE WAS SEVEN, SHE WAS LIKE...BLOODY WEIRD AND SCARY AND FREAKY. And it made me feel like Kazumi was EVIL or something. I mean, WTF IS GOING ON HERE?!?! KAZUMI LOOKED SO EVIL I WAS SO FREAKED OUT.
I mean HOLY. Dood, so FREAKY. I mean, for someone to scare you so much without even using BLOOD or KILLING or some gory cheap way of looking scary is incredibly, incredibly GOOD at being SCARY. Not only that but she WORE THE SAME COSTUME AS THAT CHILD MOLESTER and approached NEGI! LIKE HOLY FUCK. HOLY SON OF A BITCH MAN. (That moment was also rather stupid) People thought that this episode was going to be random and pointless, BUT THEY ARE DEAD WRONG. MY GOD.
I can't say if Kazumi was in character like her manga self. I mean, Kazumi in anime #1 was done well, but she didn't develop any character at all. In Anime #2, she was like a minor character or something stupid like that. She is AWESOME in the manga, but HOLY FUCK LIVE ACTION KAZUMI IS SERIOUSLY CREEPY. AND NOT IN A BAD WAY FOR SOME REASON. I am in SHOCK.
It's like she's SO dedicated to her reporting duties she'd KILL to get a good story. In fact she almost broke her leg trying to get Negi to use magic and was luckily caught by the cheerleaders when Negi got distracted...she was willing to risk her very own body...I mean. The only time I see Kazumi shed some light in the animes was with SAYO, BUT SAYO WAS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN. Kazumi CANNOT be scary if Sayo is to...like befriend her because Sayo is a serious scaredy-cat with no courage whatsoever. If they put a whole episode on Kazumi then what will happen when they have to introduce Sayo!?!?! OOO:
And in the end when Negi saved Kazumi's life and Kazumi was all smiliesh at Negi...!!! IT'S LIKE THEY CREATED A NEGIXKAZUMI PAIRING BEFORE THEY EVEN DEVELOPED ANYTHING ELSE. No seriously, where the hell is Sayo....
I knew if there was a person like Kazumi in real life I'd avoid her like the plague and most likely hate her guts, XD. It's so weird. But that Live Action...egads. Even Chisame, the most negative person in the world turned into like a preppy happy girl or something. But Kazumi started out so damned scary, and well...I don't think anyone is convinced she's changed in anyway. HER STARE IS EVIL. KAZUMI'S STARE IS PLAIN EVIL.
Well yeah. So Kazumi almost got molested, but instead scarred the molester for life...then turned it into a news story...what a creepy kid. Kazumi has lots of problems. Lots and lots and lots of problems. It's like she has no friends and resorted to ruining everyone's lives like a creepy little bitch by always being BEHIND YOUR back and KNOWING EVERYTHING. God, I'm scared RIGHT NOW. IS SHE BEHIND ME WATCHING MY EVERY MOVE!?!?! I knew Kazumi acted a little bitchy in the first anime (ESPECIALLY if you watched the dub, that voice just makes her sound like a popular bitch) but then did a 180 and befriended Sayo by being nice. IF SAYO MET THE LA KAZUMI SHE'D BE DEADER THAN DEAD. And in the second anime she did absolutely nothing but was rather entertaining (XDDD), and now in the live action she is just incredibly creepy...Yeah, you BETTER hail Kazumi, or you're DEAD, seriously.
That was rather intriguing.
Oh yeah, and this is VERY different from how I portrayed Kazumi in those redhead adventures and shiz...actually, maybe how I'm portraying her there LED to this. Seriously, Kazumi is SCREWED UP. Oh and one more thing, why the HELL is Kaede, Fuuka, and Fumika in the reporting club!? >>;
In the first anime, there was only ONE split second of Kazumi looking mad...or something. SHE WAS NEVER ANGRY THERE. And in the second anime, I don't recall her ever getting...well angry. Same with the manga. Why IS she so goddamned scary in the LA? She's always smiling all over the promo pictures of her...oh so very misleading.
In the LA...she gets frustrated, angry, SCARY, is a jerk, a bitch...and stoic. She can look very unemotional at times...like Kai...
Anyway...I will rely on Sayo to change her ways even though it seems like Negi already did, but I ain't convinced. Kazumi is bloody creepy in the live action. Have a sample:
