My English Teacher

I saw a poem in my english class
The title was "my english teacher"
It had a picture of the four male english teachers
of my school

No, it didn't have any of the female english teachers
of my school
in the picture above the poem
It did not

Well, let me tell you something.
Since I go to that school, I also have
an english teacher
And he, yes, I did say he

Is a male english teacher.

If that wasn't obvious.

Now, there's nothing wrong with the class
itself.
It can be a fun class, laughs around.
And honestly, I do enjoy english.

I'm not a bad student or anything.
I'm also not struggling with anything there
At all.
I'm pretty sure I have an A at the moment

In fact, in the latest exam,
I got a pretty good mark
While many did not
I was pleasantly surprised

When I saw that poem
I was certainly not in a pleasant mood
The poem had a metaphor
to books or shelves or something

I can tell you one thing though.
It is not the students, or the atmosphere
Of the classroom.
And this poem itself is an apostrophe

To that english teacher of mine

I hate you.
