This is like the time I supported ReiMax and 99% of the people were supporting KaiRei. T___T (Whut is TyKa? I dunno what TyKa is, do you?) ...except this time it is a much more dire situation...



Oh sweet crying cute little Ako, you go and say Makie's name first, and hug her first, and and and...then Yuuna goes "Akira" ...and gaaaaahjdbfmndsfsfh....

Now I know friends do not judge friends, but it REALLY seems like Ako likes Makie and Akira more than Yuuna in the manga canon. For that I cry little girly tears of disappointment and then I whine.

Well, I realize Ako is Makie's roommate, and I realize Yuuna was with Makie the whole time, and Akira was protecting Ako the whole time...andandand. THERE IS NOTHING I CAN SAY THAT WILL SUPPORT MY VIEWS IS THERE!? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I should go jump back onto the KazumiSayo ship and never board this empty one again. T___T

I AM THE SOLE PERSON WHO STEERS THE YUUNAxAKO SHIP. I seriously have not met another fan of this pairing, and Aoi-dono only half-counts, really. (Meaning she only boards the ship on her spare vacation time, and even then she spends it on like, ChikanexHimeko ships and drama pairing ships and all that) This tiny little empty ship that is constantly being under attack by that YuunaxAkira ship and that GIGANTIC MAKIExAKO ship. Now, as Spot enters a rant, I shall write some points down. (Oh wait, maybe the MakiexYuuna ship is bigger than the MakiexAko ship. I know the AkiraxAko ship is also a great size.) Also, this is racist. IT IS. The canon is being discriminatory by pairing up DARK-HAIRED COLOURED PEOPLE WITH DARK-HAIRED COLOURED PEOPLE, and LIGHT-HAIRED COLOURED PEOPLE WITH LIGHT-HAIRED COLOURED PEOPLE! Just look at KonoSetsu!!!!!1111!!!!!11!! The only justice is KazumiSayo! Unless they consider Kazumi's hair as light...oh no, ALL IS DOOMED! I'm pretty sure I'd consider it dark, basing it on the CANON shade. Not her fucking pink hair or maroon hair.

As for people screaming, "NAGI!". Do you people honestly think he is in the race for Ako's love? NO! Ako is a poor misguided girl, who will soon be completely hurt by the fake identity of "Nagi". There is no point in hating him really, since there is no chance of Ako ever landing him as her one true lover in the end. Srsly, ZERO chance. The obvious people at this point for NEGI is Asuna or Nodoka. (And Asuna went +1 EXP on relationship this chapter. Srsly.)

I actually started to like Makie more because of her sudden spasms of smartitude and insightfulness, but after this I'm not sure. As a character she is great, but the fact that she is in the lead for BOTH Ako and Yuuna's love very much upsets me. Of course this is just
crazy pairing talk and they're probably just going to stay happy dappy friends in the end where Yuuna marries her dad--I mean, everybody has boyfriends in the very end, but STILL. The war right now is between MakiexAko and YuunaxMakie (the latter has the edge, I believe, probably because of AkiraxAko). Oh how I feel sorry for unloved Akira (but all the fanboys love her, oh yes.)

If I had their figumates, I would make them all go into the ring besides Ako, AND FIGHT TO THE DEATH FOR AKO'S LOVE. Actually Akira might win because she has the "crazy comedy godlike DBZ powers" but I don't know. D:

Or, you know I could just chuck that all off into the ocean and start shipping ChisamexAko...BUT THEN YUUNAxMAKIE WOULD WIN AND I WOULD BE LIKE WAAAAAAAAAAAH AS WELL!
This is the most complicated pairing war I have ever been involved in. I have no artillery besides the basics, no backup, no reinforcements, no budget. This ship is the underdog, manned by one person, with one belief. It doesn't even have liferafts, but it is in the everlasting pairing war nonetheless, fighting for its dream and freedom. *salutes* WE SHALL NEVER SINK!

Now, the KazumiSayo ship on the other hand, is a rather big ship, which is always under attack by those pesky ZazieSayo ships and ChisameKazumi ships (although I don't really mind the latter), and there are a few more, but otherwise the KazumiSayo ship is very safe. 8D
The biggest ship is obviously the KonoSetsu ship. The biggest war going on is the NegiAsuna ship against the NegiNodoka ship (and after this chapter, the NegiAsuna ship has just been given more weapons of destruction)

HERE ARE SOME FACTS!

1. The first anime did squat with the Sports Girls. Like ZERO. The only thing that MIGHT count is their episode, but there was absolutely no character development there anyway.
2. To contrast, it did a hell lot with Kazumi and Sayo, particularly Sayo and not particularly Kazumi though. (Lol.)
3. The OVAs also did squat...actually they took away Makie and inserted Misora. I'm not sure I agree with such a decision. (Misora has her own gang anyway, the nun gang. Teehee, nun gang sounds so silly) I mean yes, it took away the COMPETITION for Ako, but at the same time, Misora was terribly underdeveloped, so the Sports Girls as a whole were less interesting. If they stuck with Misora's prankster's personality that formed later on in the manga, it may have worked somehow, but they did not. D:
4. To compare, Kazumi and Sayo didn't really do anything in the OVAs, besides the noncanon part where Kazumi went with Evangeline and co. to find the chupacabra, and eventually finding Chiu (but Kazumi was ORIGINALLY (in the manga she was) supposed to be involved with the ACTUAL GODDAMNED PLOT AND THEY TOOK HER OUT FOR NO REASON WTF WAS THAT SHAFT!? DOWNGRADE HER CHARACTER!?)
5. It continued to be that way into the second anime, however the extra footage of Yuuna's gun-love was a beaut. I began my fandom of Negima, as it was started because of the second anime, which is what my first story, HFF was supposed to be based upon. (My CURRENT story on the other hand is moreso from the manga obviously) But the second anime had quite its up-and-downs.
   
6. For YuunaxAko? It was heaven. Or as close to heaven it can be. Now I still oppose the decision to take out Makie and insert Misora, but the fact that Makie wasn't involved allowed the interaction of Yuuna and Ako. It saddens me that nothing in canon will ever reach this point, but at least I somehow saw it. ):
7. For KazumixSayo? It was FAIL. The "Sayo" episode was more like the "Dorm episode", and other than Sayo's pactio (which was just being tickled by Negi in wonderful bad animation fashion) they absolutely did NOTHING here. That was PURE FAILURE.
8. That would probably be the reason why I didn't care about Kazumi until after I read the manga, since her character is downgraded in every incarnation so far. The strange part is I didn't care about Yuuna until LONG after I read the manga (she was sitting around #20, biggest jump for a character ever? Indeed.) That's why Yuuna's introduction into HFF was rather late. (And yet she still became a rather important character in the story)
9. Now for the atrocity among all the atrocities...The Live Action. In the live action, both Sayo and Ako had more....well, AKO had more than Yuuna. I know that. (More screentime) Sayo and Kazumi maybe 50-50, perhaps Kazumi more. Yuuna on the other hand failed like no other. First, DID SHE BARELY GET ANY LINES AT ALL? Second, her actress...is not the best looking one, unfortunately. Third, the episode that should have been the "Sports Girls" episode, mostly detailed around Makie and a little of Akira. (ooooh, opposite from the second anime now, eh?) Ako just had random scenes of nursenessness and stuff. So for them, it was fail. Kazumi and Sayo...? Besides the fact that they butchered Kazumi's character, and the fact that they never bloody interact....yeah, fail as well. I did like Mai Nishida though. She was the only good thing about the Live Action besides Kazumi's actress' singing...
   

But the canon...even the canon doesn't have justice. It's sad thing after all...

And yes, again. Yuuna is stealing Kazumi's fashion sense. >>;
