spottoIf people know what "March 28" is about...you will know what will fill up this whole journal entry.
Anyway, I understand it'd be more logical to put episode 48 first, but I just watched 49, and so...I MUST TALK OF THIS FIRST!!!
Before I move onto the recap, I must say IF WEN DOES THAT KUNG FU YELL WITH THE HIGH PITCHED SCREAM AGAIN, I WILL SEE TO IT THAT HE BECOMES THE MAIN CHARACTER!!! Mostly because only Yamato does that...>><<>> (Not the kung fu yell, the extremely random thing in the middle of a serious episode, ex: getting hungry when they were running into the "Neo-Shadow Den", Wen did it at the effin' CLIMAX...X.x)
BTW, I wrote this when I was full of caffeine.
Episode 49: Into the Neo-Shadow Den
Yep. Just like episode 13 and 43, this is another episode I will be rambling about, A LOT.
Well, it begins with our heroes just surfacing from getting the b-energy in order to defeat Marda-B. What they saw wasn't what they expected...Neon City had been destroyed and their friends were...dead!!! Ok, they were statues, but sometimes some people have to die for once in shows like these...oh wait, that did happen...>> AHEM, ANYWAY, they were all gasping and the like when they saw the GIANT TURTLE OF DOOM ahead of them, where they would fight MARDA-B!!!! And there was this AWESOME CLIMATIC BATTLE WHERE YAMATO HAD TO BECOME SUPER SAIYAN 3 AND FUSE WITH TOMMI....
There was a scene of Li waiting inside, and then it switches after a few seconds of that. I mean they went inside and ran a lot. Then they found a door. AND IT WAS BLASTED OPEN FROM THE OTHER SIDE BY ENJYU'S AWESOME KAMEHAMEHA ATTACK!!! Actually, Yamato got hungry and ate some lunch, feeling that completing such a mission cannot be done in an empty stomach! Terry ate skunk fruit AND ATE IT WHOLE! I can't do it, throw a peach-sized thing in my mouth and finish it with barely any chewing...=P Wen opened his lunch and suddenly a flashback...
NITPICKING MODE!!: WHY THE HELL DO THEY ALWAYS REPHRASE FLASHBACKS?! They did that on episode 46, they did that on Li's "Goodbye brother", THEY'RE DOING IT ON MIE'S SPEECH, and the first one was better, WHY?!?! WHAT IS THAT PURPOSE?!/! ISN'T IT CHEAPER TO JUST REUSE THE AUDIO FROM BEFORE?!
Anyway, they reshow Mie's speech about lunch with Li, but instead of "Don't eat it all and leave some for Li" it's just, "Now you can have some with Li", maybe they rephrased it for the purpose to make it shorter, but the next flashback, Li ORIGINALLY said, "See you around, brother", which was AWESOME by Derek, but then they rephrased it to, :You're too weak, goodbye", and it had NO sound in it, just...NO emotion in it, incredibly poor voice acting.
It makes no sense.
ANYWAY...continuing on, =P, Wen saw his two lunches but didn't touch them, AND THEN THE DOOR OPENS AND THEY RUN IN! They suddenly see a giant two-headed red fire breathing dragon being ridden by Biarce. And Biarce says:
"Mwahaha! I've turned your foolish brother into a POWERFUL demon! THE NEO-SHADOW ALLIANCE IS UNSTOPPABLE NOW!!!"
Anyway, in the actual B-Daworld, a red b-daball came flying out of NOWHERE and slammed into the ceiling, which was ABOUT TO CRUSH YAMATO! But Wen had to be the hero and ruin everybody's hopes of hisslow and painful death own abilities as a cat to get away, BY SAVING HIM! Yamato was extremely grateful, but Wen was not caring about if he was ok, he was looking at that RED b-daball! They turn around and Li, who BTW, is NOT a two headed red fire breathing dragon, standing there in a menacing way. (Actually just staying still and being cool and all)
Wen, decides that only HE can do this, to free Li of the EVIL GRASP OF THAT SAURON-FANGIRL MARDA-B!!! So he ORDERS Yamato and the gang to RUN AWAY LIKE SISSIES TO FIGHT THAT STUPID EYE! While he goes and spanks his little brother, after some mindless squawbling, THEY AGREE! So they run, but Li knwos he can take on ALL OF THEM and tries to hurt them with a b-daball of his own, but Wen, just to preventtheir slow and painful deaths them from getting hurt, shoots his own b-daball and stops Li on his TRACKS!
Li reveals himself by walking slowly towards Wen, and Wen gasps as he sees THAT 3RD EYE THROUGH LI'S LOBS OF HAIR GEL!! And thus, gasps, like any Anime person tends to take their time on (Gasping is a very important attribute of an Anime character, without gasping, there is no ANIME!). He realizes that Li has been brainwashed by evil Marda-B, who probably has Li's REAL brain in a test tube somewhere in Cain's messed up room, IN WHICH MARDA-B KEEPS ORDERING CAIN TO CLEAN IT UP!!!! So anyway, Wen continues to act like an insane man and talk to himself, when he finally decides to SHOOT!
AND THUS IT GOES FAR FAR AND FAR...right towards Li, who acts all cool with Sasuke's stolen hair gel BUT SUDDENLY WITH A BAD COLOUR CHOICE, A PINK B-DABALL SAVES LI FROMa slow and painful death LOSING! Wen turns around, and GASP!!! (GASP!!) There are two cans of metal standing there, AND THE PINK REALLY SUITS THEIR B-DABALLS, SINCE THESE ROBOTS ARE BASED ON A WOMAN'S BODY!!!! Marda-B's favourite colour is pink, many of his henchmen have that as their b-daball colour choice. *NODNOD*
ANYWAY, they start ripping off Wen and Li's TRADEMARK DOUBLE TEAM ATTACK! Which BTW, is VERY HARD TO MASTER because you must avoid from HITTING EACH OTHER as you switch places CONSTANTLY!! Anyway, Wen SEES this, as those b-daballs strike the many poles which TRIES TO ACTUALLY GIVE WEN A SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATH BECAUSE HE KEEPS PREVENTING THEMTO GIVE THE OTHERS SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATHS ATTACK YAMATO AND THE OTHERS!! So Wen thinks of a flashback of him and Li doing that very trademarked attack, where they smile at each other, and li smiles like a clown (OR MY TWISTED MIND THOUGHT THAT)
Then Wen goes, in all of his SUPERIOR COCKINESS, since he has the right to brag! Seeing that Marda-B ALSO studied Li's brain and VIOLATED THEIR PRIVATE MEMORIES!! And Marda-B STEALS FROM LI! So in other words Li is a brainwashed IDIOT right now!! =D Marda-B stole that tactic he and Li came up with, which makes Wen angry and says that Marda-B may now everything Li knows about that attack, BUT HE KNOWS MORE!!!
In fact the reason why I said he can have bragging rights, is that he defeats the two woman robots in 5 seconds!! Wen still thinks Li has no brain at the moment, but gets utterly surprised (In the GASPING fashion), because Li called Wen..."his brother."
OMG...shock! Shock! Shock! This could mean Li did everything on purpose because he is just really a TWISTED WEiRD LOOKING LITTLE KID! Or, I was jumping around the living room like an idiot, which interrupted my train of thought in this particular scene. ANYWAY, this shocks Wen, obviously, SO MAYBE LI ISn'T STUPID AND HAS A BRAIN AFTER ALL..so Wen runs towards him until li almost kicked a rock into his face. (I nominate him in the soccer championships...but not Wen, since he's a bad goalkeeper APPARENTLY!!!) And Wen is all confused, BUT LI EXPLAINS IT FOR HIM...whilechoking him to utter dismay attacking Wen!
"YOU B*ST*RD WEN! YOU KEEP BEING LIKE AN OLDER BROTHER AND I HATE THAT!!!" <--basic meaning of what he said. But really, Wen overshadows Li, and takes the showoff spot, always being the one to take action first, making Wen like the better, stronger brother, making Li ALWAYS need a helping hand. IT ALSO MAKES ANOTHER FLASHBACK!! Where Li is VERY VERY TIRED (HE WAS IN THE KOREAN VERSION! IN THE KOREAN VERSION THAT GODLY VOICE ACTRESS MADE HIM SOUND LIKE HE WAS HAVING A HEART ATTACK!!) And Wen gives him a hand to get up...
BUT WENKEEPS PRAYING FOR MERCY tells Li to not do this, for this isn't the real Li! OF COURSE NOT! Half of his brain is somewhere else! And, as the poles continue to fall like bricks (THAT TURTLE IS BEING ABUSED! SOMEONE ARREST THEM FOR ENDANGERING THE GIANT FLOATING EVIl-BASE TURTLE SPECIES!) suddenly, SOME of the poles actually HAVE SOME SUCCESS IN crushing Wen into a bloody pancake WINNING THE MATCH! And BOOM...scene change...O____o
Yamato stops, and with his ultra super-hearing powers of the Powerpuff Girls, whom he secretly assassinated at birth, hears Wen's hurrible NOT loud apparent scream!! (It's like they want to die because they don't SCREAM loud enough...SUICIDAL! THIS ANIME IS FULL OF SUICIDAL KIDS!) And it goes back to Li, who MOCKS (=P=P=P) Wen by attempting to give him...A HELPING HAND! OMG, THAT IS HUMILIATING, LI!!! WOW!! (insert sarcasm-hinting smiley here). Then li goes cocky and says now to take over ALL of the b-daworld, he must defeat everybody else...FOR, IN THE WORDS OF LI, HE IS THE BEST B-DAPLAYER EVER!!!! Oh, did I mention Wen was unconscious? Wen has a flashback (by looking at the SARDINE BOXES) of Mie, the niceness of Mie and stuff like that, and thinks about when he helped Li up, who continues to train despite Wen's words.
And Wen finally realizes...THAT HE IS A PATHETIC BROTHER! Well, not that extreme, BUT YEAH! Since he was trying to run away from Li's utter superior Super Saiyan 4 STRENGTH by shadowing him and overprotecting him! He is sad, but knows that right now, it's not about brother and brother, IT'S ABOUT KILLING THAT STUPID EYE! So Wenruns up and smacks Li in the back of the head with a nail in a board and kills him and is extremely determined to fight Li! So now, it's time again, to FIGHT!!!
And Wen does this, AND THIS IS REAL, I'M NOT JOKING, he makes a KUNG FU SCREAM AND MAKES AN AMAZING JACKIE CHAN KICK...ok, that last part was not real, BUT THERE WAS A KUNG FU SCREAM! They both shoot their last b-daballsthat self-destruct and destroy the planet that GETS VERY BRIGHT (an explosion) causing many SEIZURES TO THE POOR CHILDREN!! Anyway, flashback...
Little Wen and little Li (whom's eyes are twice the size) are in front of teh SHADOW ALLIANCE GATE! And since I'm lazy, I'l just throw in the quote since this was such a SPECIAL moment!
(In front of Shadow door way)
Li: So, if we join the Shadow Alliance, we'll get stronger, right?
Wen: That's right... then I'll be the strongest and I'll be able to protect you forever.
Li: Yeah, but I wanna get strong, too, so I can protect you!
Wen: Wah!
Li: I'll be the strongest...
Wen: Hey, you're the little brother here!
Li: Yea, but...
(Door opens)
Li: I'm scared...
Wen: Don't worry, Li. After all, I'll always be your brother!

Suddenly, Li'sshoving Wen off a cliff to wake him up pushing Wen awake, who awakes to A SUPER CUTE LI WITH NO HAT THAT MADE ME SO FANGIRLISH THAT I ALMOST RAN INTO THE TV... And Wen wakes up, where his voice actor surprisingly actually does pretty good grunts of Wen feeling pain...mwahahaha. Anyway, li states that he was afraid that Wen would've never opened his eyes, but Wen says he could say the same thing about Li and punches Li in the forehead to make sure the eye was gone and Li asks what happened. Wen just says never mind and tries getting up, but has a hard time, Li gives him the finger asks if Wen needs a helping hand and they Wen grabs his hand to get up, the end. The END OF B-DAMAN! THIS IS THE FINALE!!...not.
But yeah, that's the end of the episode. (I will not get into the part where Yamato ran into Cainand ate Joshua)
Now...for RATINGS...

There was one shot of Li, standing there, serious, silent, just looking beyond, doing nothing but watching...REALLY COOL.
Saddest Scene:
When NOBODY DIED OF A SLOW PAINFUL DEATH! When Wen had the flashback of Mie and looks very sad in his face, both times, Wen made me sad today, but that's good...=D
