Sayo: ASAKURA-SAAAN!! <3

spottoIf Akamatsu turns Kazumi into a shaman, I will kiss his feet. Srsly. That'd be WIN. (Plus the "we just pactio with Negi to get powers" is getting old and repetitive. If they DO do that again, at least give whoever the next person some extra power like Ku Fei's kickass martial arts. ANGRY HORSE KICKS BACK!) We already got ninjas, robots, vampires, martians, hanyous, youkais, ghosts, mages (duh), mad scientists, net idols, shotacons, chubby girls, etc, etc, etc in Negima, I don't see it being farfetched at all. :D (It should have pirates too, lmao)
Chapter 175 is WIN. The newest chapter is complete filler (but that means we get to see more secondary characters!!!) and it has lots of SAYO, ZAZIE, NATSUMI, AKO, AND TO SOME EXTENT MANAXKAEDE + LIBRARY TRIO. The most important of all is that the pairing ZazieXSayo (if it actually exists) finally makes sense now.
At the same time I am also kind of disappointed, but Zazie can see Sayo now. (I'm disappointed because the importance of KAZUMI BEING TEH ONLY ONE ABLE TO SEE SAYO...is no longer true. DDDD:) In other words, my ChisameXKazumi spirit is happy, but my KS spirit is FALLING! D:
However, THIS COULD ALSO mean that if they are going to freakin' Wales for another potentially long arc as the Festival arc, that Asakura would end up going as well, AND that if Sayo stays behind, would have a friend. (Zazie) Of course the happiest thing for me is that they all end up going, but that'd be near impossible, for Sayo is apparently a landlocked spirit. Whether or not Chisame is going (who never appeared in the chapter, sadly, D:) is uncertain (same with Kazumi, so...). Also has a bunch of Ako fanservice and lots of Natsumi blushing, Mana & Kaede not entirely happy at how much they have to pay for school (simply for the reason that they look older), and an EBIL NODOKA.
Asakura had like two panels, but it's better than nothing. (At least it isn't the back of her head in class or something, lol) Why the hell is she walking with Makie? I object that. I object! OBJECTION DAMNIT!

Sayo looks like a total airhead. XDDD (But in fact she is lovesick. She's screaming ASAKURA-SAN!!! In that panel. Yay for my limited knowledge of Japanese! :DDDD)
And here Asakura invited her to something and she enthusiastically screams, "HAAAI!!!!" (In katakana for some reason, eh) I love this pairing, it is SO darn cute! ^^ LOOKIT THE HEARTS! They have hearts in their speech bubbles when talking to each other! HAHA!
Zazie has just witnessed the greatness of KS, ROCK ON ZAZIE! (For some reason I feel like this moment is a crucial point in gaining information for Zazie in her master evil plan of the last arc of Negima where she tries to kidnap Sayo, and Kazumi, her knight in shining armour, must pactio with Negi and then suddenly reveal her secret shaman powers and they fight Zazie in the climax of the final arc of Negima!!!! *is just rambling now*)

KazumixSayo FTW, srsly. SRSLY. I have never been so obsessed with a pairing in my life. (KaiRei and ReiMax do NOT COME CLOSE to what I'm feeling right now. Plus KS has a million more hints, :D. It's probably because I expanded my pairings beyond just fluff. Probably because of the very R-rated doujins I got, xDDD. I BLAME KIRAMI! YATTA!!!) BTW I got a new doujin yesterday, first one where Sayo is FEATURED (she is in barely any doujins, the only other one she's in is like two panels and she's almost like a background character there) and I find it pretty impossible for her to do "that" as she's just a ghost. Also, Asakura (and Yuuna! WOot!) was in it too. It was ALL fully coloured, which is pretty interesting, ne? (The art style was very nice, in fact if you looked at their face and slowly went down you'd go, "Aww! How cute!" until you notice how much "revealed" they were, [Then you'd go, ZOMG SMEXEH! And...HOT!! Well, for guys I guess, unless you're like me, xDDD]) The eyes were very nice, except Kazumi does NOT have grass-green eyes, ._.; I swear she is the person with the most inconsistent eye colour EVER.
Manga eye-colour: (AKA CANON) Bluish-purplish

Negima clock eye-colour: Brown

Like zomg. O_o I'm glad nobody changed her hair colour. (They changed Sakurako's red to yellow, Natsumi's red to green, etc.) Which has made her become the "true" redhead. =D
I ALSO have an awesome KS story I'm writing that is amazingly not just random humour of d00m, it's already 4000 words and it's VERY inspired by the story of KaiRei long ago called "Conversion". You go find it yourself if you want to know what it might be about. =P (That story was what made me love SLASH! :D)
AND PEOPLE WHO ONLY CONSIDER SLASH AS BOY/BOY INSTEAD OF BOTH THAT AND GIRL/GIRL AND THEN CATEGORIZING GIRL/GIRL AS FEMSLASH SUCK.
I'm done, but here's something I wrote the other day and forgot to post it: OH, and my Kazumi clock still keeps scaring me by saying the time in Japanese every hour. xD I was watching episode 19 subbed and Asakura was speaking, then BOOM I hear Asakura say the time in Japanese and I'm like, WTF THAT NEVER HAPPENED until I realized, xD

So I've been wondering why in the Anime, Manga, the majority of fandom, and even the fans call Kazumi by her last name, Asakura. I know I do too, except I also call her Kazumi at times too. (I always use both, :P) But everybody always for some odd reason, calls her Asakura. Nobody, not even Sayo, calls Kazumi by her first name in the Anime. Well, we can ask the same thing for Hakase as well, but Hakase's reason is that while Hakase is her last name, it also means 'professor'. Since Hakase sold her soul to science, it makes sense.
Well, let's first wonder, Kazumi is not a scientist obviously, but she is a paparazzi who always looks for scoop every second someone sees her. Does that mean Asakura means "reporter"? Nope, far from it.
It means "Morning storehouse" (I know from learning Japanese that "asa" is in fact morning, however her name is in kanji. While asa as hiragana is "Morning". However if I translate it using a chinese translator [since all the Japanese one does is change it to "Asakura" instead of its meaning] it gives me "towards warehouse")
The point being, I'm about 95% sure that Asakura does NOT mean what she IS, unlike Hakase. 'Kazumi' on the other hand means gentle beauty, or beauty of harmony or with beautiful...look the point being is that her first name makes sense because the parents obviously want to name their child with a nice meaning. I don't know which parent wants to name their child "Stupid" or something. Yet no one calls her Kazumi (maybe her parents do, but the only characters who have their parents actually SHOWN are Konoka and Yuuna, and Yuuna's the only one who has BOTH her parents shown. If we don't count Sayo, Eva, and Chachamaru, then there'd be like 28 pairs of parents (besides Yuuna and Konoka, it seems like both their mommies are dead or something) Which equals 54 parents. I'm sure Akamatsu doesn't want to draw 54 adults.
Anyway, back to the point. Then the OTHER reason must mean because one is not close to a Japanese person, they call them by their last name and say -san. Like if you just met someone in Japan, you don't call them, "Bob" you call them "Smith-san" or "Smith-kun". Asakura is always called by her last name followed by a -san besides some of her classmates. (They must be slightly "closer" to her than others) They just call her just "Asakura". There has never been anything in the manga or anime, where someone has called her Kazumi without her last name. In other words, does Kazumi have any..."close friends"? Close friends mean they call you by your first name, flatly, without any honorfics at all.
Apparently not. Sayo calls her "Asakura-san" because she wants to be polite as possible, and it's quite apparent that Kazumi doesn't care if Sayo calls her Kazumi at all, since she has already called Sayo "Sayo-chan" shortly after meeting the girl. (Or because of Asakura's personality, so she would call anybody by their first name) If Kazumi doesn't care if she's being called by her first name because obviously she does it to everybody else, the reason for others never to call her Kazumi is strange in that way. I mean someone like Asuna also calls a bunch of people by their first names...except Asakura.
So, is the only reason she is constantly called by her last name, is because she has no close friends? Everybody is all in their little secluded groups. The nikuman people, the library trio, the fighting four, etc. Although we can ALSO argue for why the hell Ku Fei is always called Ku Fei, and why Chao is always called by her last name too, but that's because THEY are foreign. Nobody calls Evangeline "McDowell" or Zazie "Rainyday" since they are ALSO foreign. OR could the other reason be that...Kazumi is...FOREIGN AS WELL?
