I have a question.

There is a guy and a girl. (Or for happy fangirl sakes, guy and guy or girl and girl!) They are holding hands. They aren't siblings or relatives or parents, etc, at all. They are two teenage people.

Now, when you hear someone say, "That's normal, holding hands doesn't always mean they're dating or in love or something."

The fook?

Yeah, hugging is something that might not indicate love, nor does even kissing in some places. (According to retarded French videos they do that there as a greeting of some sort) When I say love, I mean love love. Not parental love or sibling love, but a couple...in love kind of love. When two people hug, they could be two good friends (happens often with females), or it could be a little kid hugging a parent, etc.

But holding HANDS. The only thing where the hand touches another hand that doesn't mean love is SHAKING hands. (Which would insult those you love, lol) But holding hands DEFINITELY MEANS LOVE.

Yes, this incident happened today. A friend of mine was seen with another guy whom I had a French presentation with once (and we amazingly got out of it due to several absences) HOLDING HANDS. And my otaku friend, who only likes the cool bloody violent action anime without any romance at all, whom also went "EW" at yaoi said that quote above.

I am certainly starting to realize how unrealistic and somewhat pathetic this friend of mine is, who seems to oppose all types of romance for some odd reason. My other friend is similar, except more to hockey and hard metal stuff. But the rest of them understand, and don't really care, but seriously.

Girls at my school walk hand in hand with their friends all the time. In fact, my sister does that a lot.

Though if they're holding hands with a guy then everybody generally assumes that they're going out.

Yeah...holding hands is either a romantic thing or a girly thing. =P
