spottoGODDAMNIT YOUTUBE I WANT HAPPY RECOMMENDATIONS. STOP GIVING ME SAD CRAP.
Anyway...
So I was watching a Youtube recommendation video, I do that when bored or waiting for Sims to load as it takes 900 years to load when I realized most of my favourite pairings...ARE PRETTY BLAND. The only exciting interesting one is KoHo!
I was trying to justify why I liked Rei beyond shallow reasons because I was starting realize that he is kind of...boring. I mean, I know he's all YIN AND YANG and stuff, all the medium, moderation kind of personality which is kind of cool...but also kind of plain. When I created him in Sims (yes, check my Sims blog imma update that soon) I had a hard time making his personality! I could've made him a boring balanced cancer like half of all my asian cancer knowledge Sims who are all boring, but that didn't seem right. But I mean, I thought he'd have a lot of points in active for his build in the anime, but I only get a limited amount of points. I suppose I could've made him a bit sloppier since he lives in a dirty shack in the middle of nowhere but it didn't seem too in character for him to burp and fart, so I couldn't have too less points in that part. He wasn't SUPER nice but not super mean either, and G Rev doesn't help in the nice department but I didn't think he'd be too bad or good, so I was running out of points and deprived him of his playful section. He's incredibly serious.
BAD IDEA. Now Rei acts like Kai in my game. He's an antisocial prick. THAT WAS GREAT. I always screw up personalities. For example my Hotaru burps and laughs and such, another screwed up personality lolololol. Well at least Rei acts like manga Rei!? I DON'T KNOW. MY REI SUCKS. I FAILED HIM. He's not even a FUNNY scorpio like Hong Kong was! (Hong Kong was awesome.)
Speaking of which I remade Hong Kong in my new neighbourhood to match my Korea. Hong Kong is a bit different this time around despite how amusing old scorpio Hong Kong was. I made this Hong Kong more akin to my favourite RPer HK. I made him much more playful, but not that nice, and very very shy. It is this kind of HK I think he is like. It might even be somewhat canon considering that one comic he was in. (OF COURSE I haven't followed Hetalia AT ALL this entire year, so there might've been new stuff I know NOTHING about. Oh look a fourth season of Hetalia, I wonder if HK is going to get animooted...)
Well I made an entire family! I edited a custom Sim a bit and put her into the game, I think I downloaded from somewhere, probably GoS. (That alternate place with pretty stuff but I never post there because I'm not really into the stuff they like, BUT THEY DO HAVE PRETTY STUFF) and she looks like Bella from Twilight now. No lie, that kind of annoys me a bit. So...yeah I have a Bella in my game... I think my friend would enjoy killing her off but she's the only adult in the family so that'd be bad for all the teens I've been playing lately. (Of all age groups besides elder, teen I play the least so I've been doing LOTS of that lately) Oh well it doesn't matter how she looks, her personality is way different! For example she is not pretentious! She's a geek who is also a romance Sim for some reason. Ah, the drama that ensues with single romance sim parents of five...
I also made Max, because why make Rei without a Max. I also made Minako....rather spontaneously. I created her in CAS instead of Body Shop, so you can tell she's quite spontaneous, and because she was so spontaneous she doesn't look as good. (I sad) HOWEVER I was wondering who I should pair up between the two families (UNFORTUNATELY Korea and Hong Kong kind of hate each other at the moment, so uh...but at least it fits my profile of HK!) and I thought of putting Rei with maybe Kazumi or Hotaru but then I realized he was an antisocial prick and gave up. BUT I had one lucky couple.
I took the family out to dinner and Henry walked by, he hearthrobbed Minako immediately, making the"CALL-ME" sign and walking off. THEY HAVE TWO BOLTS HOLY HOW DID THAT HAPPEN. I apparently randomly made Henry's turn-ons blondes and jewellery...oh, how convenient that I have a blonde wearing jewellery. It also helped that he's a pleasure and she's a romance, so very little jealousy there and I can make Minako two-time all she wants without Henry caring, but that also made me sad because if they're romance and pleasure, that means I can't have a loyal couple just together being steady and all. I wanted that too but my other Sims are stupid and socially retarded.
You know I realize I should be putting this all in my Sims blog but there I always accompany this stuff with screenshots which I don't feel like doing here, so yeah. You're probably wondering why Max isn't involved with all of this. He's the friendliest, most sociable kid in the block, but I made his face too baby-ish so he seems too innocent for romance lololol. Oh well. TOO FRIENDLY in my opinion. When I was trying to make friends with someone NOT Max he's the one showing up anyway. GODDAMNIT MAX.
I also made a brand new original Sim which I should make more of. I called him Lupus Wolfenstein because I'm totally creative. I wanted to actually try out some of the life states beyond aliens (which I played with much much earlier with Yao) so I decided on werewolves. At first I was going to turn Max into one, but then I read that werewolves change their personalities (permanently) and I didn't see Max as super mean, so...I'll do it to a random Sim I don't care as much about! :D Well I do, I just don't mind his personality changing.
So I was annoyed how long it took for a stupid pack leader to even arrive. I decided to just teleport one onto the lot. (I am not imprevious to cheating, nope :P but I never use testingcheatsenabled true. I think that's TOO much cheating and takes the fun out of it, at least for me, if others like dragging people's motives wherever then fine whatever) The Sims random naming system doesn't seem very random. I have THREE Benny's, TWO BARONS, and TWO BALINS. Only one baron and one Balin are pack leaders, some are wolves ,some are puppies, etc. Eesh. So I played and basically brought up Lupus' relationship with Balin until he finally nibbled him, and he became a werewolf. THen I adopted the OTHER Balin because you can't adopt pack leaders as a pet. I also made Lupus made two other people werewolves, both women because eh. I may make him do to it to Rei or something because...it'd be funny. Then Rei will be more interesting. Still a prick, but more interesting P: (though turning a CAT-person into a werewolf is a bit...odd)
If you're wondering why I'm playing this game more, I realized I haven't been playing all my expansion packs very much. For example Open for Business, which I attempted briefly but got annoyed. I think it'd be more fun if I actually did something, like craft stuff or build stuff. Also I want a servo. I also want to try witches out and not just the apartments and go on more vacations, maybe find that pirate ghost or something. I need to get the value out of these games I bought anyway. I could even start gardening but gardening annoys the heck out of me, maybe just orange trees or something simple at first. I've played tons of University and Nightlife and Pets, but I need to play more of the others. Plus Thanksgiving is coming so I have tons more time for this week. So unless I become disinterested again expect more Sim stuff on my Sim Blog! Until then, I am out.
