"Stupid spoiled whore video playset!"

I FEEL LIKE...naming my favourite episodes! I've watched pretty much all of them now (and those I haven't...either I thought they weren't good the first time I saw them or I don't feel like watching)
This is kind of like those PPG reviews except 10x shorter because I can't be bothered! (at least PPG has less episodes)
So obviously, spoilers for people who don't watch South Park. P: If you don't want to be spoilered but are curious to what episodes are my favourites, just scroll straight to the bottom.
-
What I'm going to do is name my top two episodes of each season, which is kind of tough for some of them for various reasons (either I thought there were lots of good episodes that season or the other way around :X) so there might be honourable mentions or "THIS EPISODE IS HORRIBLE D<" mentions.
So, let's start with the first season, where half of it was still incredibly crudely animated and Kyle still yelled out the entire Kenny died catchphrase, but my favourites of this one had to be...Cartman Gets An Anal Probe and Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo.
The first episode of South Park I EVER watched was actually Starvin' Marvin and then Mecha-Streisand because I actually have an official video of those two episodes. I believe they were given to my brother for Christmas long, long ago and he left it here because no one owns VCRs anymore. Nonetheless, while I did enjoy those two episodes when I was eight-years-old, I've always had a soft spot for the Christmas Special. It helped that it was kind of like a musical, and I always hummed Kyle's Lonely Jew song. I very much adored him as a character for a long time, and still do! The first episode is a more recent choice, but I did like how old school and retro it felt, with Kyle swearing obscenties and the first time Stan barfs on Wendy, the first time Kenny dies, etc. It just feels pretty nostalgic. (I do like a few other episodes of this season as well! Honourable mentions go to Pinkeye and Tom's Rhinoplasty. Forgettable episodes include Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride...I have no idea why I didn't enjoy it that much, but all in all the season was good.
Next...
Season two my top two choices will go to...Chickenpox and Gnomes. This season was a bit more difficult to choose because I don't think it was a very strong season. Even so I do have honourable mentions such as Conjoined Fetus Lady, and Clubhouses. Forgettable episodes though, Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls if only because I really am bothered by talking pieces of poop and the reason I liked the Christmas episode in the first season was due to Kyle being adorable as opposed to a talking piece of shit. (Then again he was adorable this episode, and Stan immediately running off with Wendy after saying "I'm here for you" to Kyle (then dropping him to the ground) is hilarious, but the ending was absolutely gross. So yeah) I mean otherwise the whole innuendo with Chef's cooking was funny. Every other episode I didn't mention is mediocre.
Conjoined Fetus Lady is probably one of the most nostalgic episodes to me. I remember watching that episode a lot as a kid, and always remembering how it went. The other one was simply funny/heartwarming, and the whole "WE'LL GIVE HERPES TO OUR PARENTS FOR REVENGE!" had me in stitches in Chickenpox. Gnomes was my absolute favourite though, not only were there underpants gnomes (Tweek!) but they went high on caffeine, was the origin of the ??? PROFIT! joke, and Kenny's death was the icing on the cake.
Even so, weak season. :X
As for season three! The Spotto awards for best episodes this season are...Are You There God? It's Me, Jesus and Sexual Harassment Panda with LOTS of runner ups. I found this season pretty good, and choosing the top two was especially difficult. I already ranted tons about the first episode, but Sexual Harassment Panda's theme is still stuck in my head. Then everyone sued everyone and Kyle's dad got rich, haha. Still though, ther were many other episodes I could've chosen like Chinpokomon, Rainforest Schmainforest, Spontaneous Combustion, even Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics (lots of catchy tunes! :D) I did not like Jackovasaurus though...don't know why, just wasn't entertaining at all.
Good season! :D
Now into the year 2000! We have...Something You Can Do With Your Finger and The Wacky Molestation Adventure. That first episode was great, just the whole notion of them being in a boy band, and Wendy's song! WENDY'S SONG WAS AMAZING. I liked the argument between Cartman and Kyle over who should be the "tough" member, when Cartman wanted Kyle to be the "sweet" one. For some reason it felt...right. The Wacky Molestation Adventure on the other hand I just loved how the entire episode unfolded. "My parents molstered me!!" and then all the adults disappear! I especially liked Stan's dance when he got rid of his family. Just geuninely amusing.
As for the mentions, we got Cartman Joins NAMBLA and Cherokee Hair Tampons. Kenny's actions in the first one was very amusing, as well as the children's obliviousness to what NAMBLA even is! Dr. Mephisto (or however its spelled) in a different NAMBLA (North American Marlon Brando Look-Alikes!) just threw me to the ground laughing. As for the second one, I liked it as a Stan/Kyle friendship kind of episode, just pulled at my heartstrings when Stan was crying and yet Kyle's mother (along with pretty much everyone) were only focused on flushing these "toxins"..whatever they may be. :P
I enjoyed this season a lot. In fact I don't know if I can name a really bad episode, maybe A Very Crappy Christmas because I hate Mr. Hankey, but the idea of this episode was really clever nonetheless, using the old Spirit of Christmas short to make the episode. Still, it's my least favourite christmas special to this day.
The fifth season brings us with great episodes such as Kenny Dies and Cartmanland, but I also liked Super Best Friends. I enjoyed tons of episodes but unlike season four it felt more like lots of "good episodes" rather than lots of "great episodes" to me. I also enjoyed Scott Tenorman Must Die and Butter's Very Own Episode, but it's really hard to choose something I REALLY liked to be a favourite/honourable mention out of the choices in season five since I didn't feel they're good enough to be up there.
Kenny Dies was just sad and dramatic...a little flare of comedy here and there, but it was sad and dramatic. A really good episode simply for the characters. Cartmanland...that one part when Kyle's parents tried to cheer him up with a story from the Jewish Bible that just had a really, really horrible ending cracked me up. What were the parents thinking!? That totally would make Kyle believe in God for sure! I like the idea for Super Best Friends...all the god and deities of several religions being in this superhero group. "What stops a giant concrete Abraham Lincoln statue? Why a giant concete John Wilkes Booth statue of course!" The logic! Oh and also when the boys kept mixing each other up after they shaved their hair. "Wait who am I?" " You're Stan." Bahahaha.
I didn't hate the Towelie episode, but I do agree with Cartman. He's the worst character ever, and I won't like any other episode involving him either, but still. I can understand the point of his character...to be a bad character, lol.
Thus bringing us to season six! Despite the lack of Kenny I REALLY enjoyed this season. In fact it's pretty difficult to choose a top two, but I'll have to go with The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers and Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society. The first one is just a brilliant parody of Lord of the Rings, what with misplacing the porno, Butters becoming Gollum, the sixth graders, Jews that can't be paladins...simply brilliant. The second choice was much harder, but I eventually went with the one where all the guys basically turn into gorillas and act like animals, trying to be the dominant alpha male so they can hang out with Bebe. (even if I thought Wendy getting breast implants was kind of out of character) The part where Stan called boobs "Ahh Ta" and drew them on the wall like a cave man..Bahahaha!
Child Abduction is Not Funny caused me and my brother to repeat the phrase "GODDAMN MONGORIANS" for YEARS. Fun with Veal, Professor Chaos, Simpsons Already Did It, Asspen...I could basically name ALL the episodes of this season as an honourable mention. Definitely one of my favourite seasons.
So there is no bad episode of this season, let's go to seven!
South Park is Gay! and Toilet Paper. I liked a lot of Kyle episodes, but bludgeoning him to death with a wiffle bat? Nightmares of HORRIFIC REACTIONS to something the "victims" treated completely mundanely? I'm also one of those folks who did enjoy the CRAB PEOPLE (I've heard others thought it was a cheap way out of the episode, but eh). Crab people! Crab people!
Three honourable mentions this time! We got Grey Dawn, Fat Butt and Pancake Head, and Raisins. Besides GODDAMN MONGORIANS, my brother and I also loved repeating "OLD PEOPLE ARE DRIVING! AHHH!" "CRAB PEOPLE. CRAB PEOPLE." AND "Taco taco, taco flavoured kisses!' This season and the last was filled with amusing phrases! I however enjoyed Raisins for more of a serious reason. Just how wise Butters was, and how he took heartbreak was...fulfilling in my heart. I found it a very "Aww" episode, sad and heartwarming at the same time.
I loved a lot of these episodes but I wasn't fond of Krazy Kripples. I don't really like Timmy and Jimmy focused episodes that much. They seem very gimmicky and works for a few laughs but not really...like, not indepth! Although I like Jimmy more because he can do more stuff, seeing as he can say things (like his role in the LotR episode a season back was amusing)
Season eight started very well with Good Times With Weapons. Then the season ended amazingly with Woodland Critter Christmas. An anime spoof...damn. I did feel sorry for Butters, but damn...complete with a theme song with Gratutious Engrish. Damn. Need I say more? The Christmas episode is probably one of my favourite episodes in the entire series, if only because spoofing a generic christmas special has to be the funniest thing ever. (That poem, "The Night Before Christmas".) Cartman's messed up imagination is extremely entertaining.
Cartman's Incredible Gift is also one of my favourite episodes in the entire series, (along with Good Times with Weapons, season eight has a lot of the best gems) basically...well, just watch the entire episode. It was that great. Other good ones to mention are The Jeffersons (if only for the unhooded Kenny death), and Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset! (the tune is stuck in my head, thus the title) This season also lacks a bad episode imo.
Then there's season nine, where I loved Follow That Egg and...the second one is a toughie again. I liked a lot of episodes, I guess I'll have to go with Free Willzyx. The first episode because...Stan gets jealous that Wendy is paired with Kyle in a parenting project, but Ms. Garrison, in an attempt to get her boyfriend back, tries to prevent his marriage by getting the governor to ban Gay Marriage, so he changes the pairing so that Stan is put with Kyle to prove that gays can't care for children (the egg) as an official study for the governor leading to lovely quotes like "How about our gay couple, Stan and Kyle?" and then in the end they run through explosions and bullets, beaten up, bloody, but alive, with the egg intact, causing the governor to allow gay marriage! That was ingenious, truly. (Not to mention Ms. Garrison spontaneously singing in class! LOL)
Free Willzyx is ridiculous, but that poor whale. Still, it was a great episode. When I first watched it though I was somewhat shocked...DEAD WHALE ON MOON, CREDITS ROLL IN SILENCE...but I learned to love it. Lol. I did not like Erection Day or Bloody Mary they were both somewhat gross, and while Best Friends Forever won an emmy, I don't particularly love it or hate it. It was just an episode for me P:
For season 10, I'd go with Smug Alert! and Make Love, Not Warcraft. Stan's gay little song...best song EVER. Seriously. And Make Love Not Warcraft was a hilarious spoof on gamers, but WoW gamers in general. "Or it is the end of the world....of Warcraft." Then they started getting pimply and fat the more they played...just hilarious. I like how Kyle chose the girl character.
Mystery of the Urinal Deuce and Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy are the runner ups. I did like the two-parter episodes as well but it usually leads to having to choose one or the other I like more so I avoided them entirely (Cartoon Wars and Go God Go). The first one, it was nice that everything that happened was because of Stan for once, and not Cartman or the stupidity of the town or something. And then the next episode, it was nice that it wasn't Cartman fighting Kyle but actually helping him (even for his own reasons) plus he was hilarious.
While Stanley's Cup had a horrible downer ending, the episode I'd choose that sucks is A Million Little Fibers. Goddamnit Towelie.
And so jumping into season eleven, giving us the two wonderful episodes: The Snuke and The List. I had a really hard time choosing the top two for this season, but I think of all the comedies, sitcoms, cartoons, whatever that spoofed 24, South Park did it best in The Snuke. The List..."That didn't sparkle with her did it?" with Stan and Wendy and then Kenny being shot miles away, LOL. Also I was all "Aww" for Kyle. I wish they left the deleted scene in, Cartman's quote was hilarious.
Runner's up (very CLOSE runner's ups, mind you) go to Guitar Queer-O and Lice Capades. I do love Stan/Kyle friendship episodes (hell, Stan was all like "I NEED YOU KYLEEEE!" in this episode) but I actually enjoyed Follow that Egg more of the two, in terms of Stan/Kyle-focused episodes. (All the Style fans seem to like this one more though, it has 3 million more views than the next most-watched video on xepisodes.net! I KNOW it was padded by Yaoi fangirls!) Follow That Egg was more brilliant, more subtle yet still being kind of blatant about it, here it was kind of in the middle-ground but I still enjoyed it. I like how it followed Clyde of all people in Lice Capades, and I almost thought they were going to beat Kenny to death rather than sock bath him, lol.
This season also had the Imaginationland Trilogy, which I did love but again, I can't really choose one episode over the other. I did not really like More Crap of this season since it was...well, you know, poop. I'm not amused by shit, really. :P
SEASON TWELVE!
Breast Cancer Show Ever. I watched Wendy beat the shit out of Cartman with that dramatic, action-packed music eight times in a row. It was satisfying, definitely satisfying. I loved this episode. (the Principal's speech was great as well) Super Fun Time, Butters' determination to get Cartman (his partner for the field trip) back on the bus was also amazing to watch.
It's kind of hard to choose honourable mentions since there were lots of good episodes. I loved Craig in the Pandemic two-parter (THE GUINEA PIGS!!!) Major Boobage was LOL, Stan and Kyle hugging each other, crying ,and yelling "I LOVE YOU!" to each other was actually very surprising to me in China Probrem. Kyle's HAIR in Elementary School Musical...yeah I know, it's spoofed off of one of the HSM characters, but still.
One of the poorest episodes in the entire series had to be Britney's New Look...really!? Really!?
Second-last season....thirteen! Fatbeard and Whale Whores both pirate episodes! Fatbeard amused the hell out of me, and actually there was quite a message in the episode as well. Whale Whores had one badass Stan, but Cartman singing "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga...I've listened to it several times already. I still like Stan's gay little song more, but still that was an amazing episode.
It's pretty hard to choose honourable mentions here as well because this season was really good. From The Ring (Kenny episode yay!) to The Coon (secretly-a-Kenny episode, yay!) to Margaritaville (Kyle is Jesus! Yay!) Dead Celebrities (Ike in a beauty pagent, yay!) to W.T.F. ( wrestlers panicking with OMGOMG! Yay!) to The "F" Word (Harley drivers are fags! Yay!) even Pee (as gross as it was, it was amusing! Yay!) and Dancing with Smurfs (Wendy's brilliant take-that against Cartman! Yay!)
But I hated Eat, Pray, Queef and Fishsticks. I can understand the message behind the first one, but...never liked Terrance and Philip (or the Queef Sisters, either) which is funny because I'm Canadian. It's not the made-up stereotypes that I don't like, because I did love Christmas in Canada and Canada on Strike (and the movie!), I just don't find queefing and farting to be funny, lolol, but I know the point of their existence P: And Fishsticks...that joke got repeated like 8 times.
Finally, the most recent season: FOURTEEN! Woo! Almost done!
Obviously Coon vs. Coon and Friends and...the second episode was a toughie but I did eventually go for Mysterion Rises. Yes I did take episodes from a two-parter/trilogy this time because I actually couldn't choose another episode outside of the trilogy. I didn't think they were that good. I guess It's a Jersey Thing was amusing, and You Have 0 Friends.
Well, the Coon trilogy was great, but I really loved the final episode of it because of how out-of-nowhere Mintberry Crunch came from, even if to some people they thought it was a cop out or something, but I loved that ending. I also found Mysterion killing himself several times equally amusing. I originally didn't want to choose Mysterion Rises because it was a great episode, but not that funny (I don't givea damn about Captain Hindsight/BP in these episodes, they weren't funny, so that's why I never chose the first one) however since the discovery of Kenny being Mysterion launched me into the fandom itself...I might as well list it.
Kyley-B, the were-Jerseymonster Kyle turns into....bahahahaha. I was not that fond of the ending though, but again can see the point to why it was added. Then the whole Facebook thing with Stan was amusing too.
They decided to put a Jimmy/Timmy episode combined with a Towelie episode, and it wasn't even that much about Jimmy or Timmy, even if the disabled kids acting very Looney Tunes-ish was amusing. So I didn't like Crippled Summer very much. The rest were average/mediocre.
Thus ends with Spotto's top ten favourite South Park episodes!
1. Woodland Critter Christmas (season 8)
2. Good Times with Weapons (season 8)
3. Follow That Egg! (season 9)
4. Cartman's Incredible Gift (season 8)
5. Coon vs. Coon and Friends (season 14)
6. Fatbeard (season 13)
7. Are You There God? It's Me, Jesus (season 3)
8. Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo (season 1)
9. Breast Cancer Show Ever (season 12)
10. Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society (season 6)
I really wanted to add The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers and Make Love, Not Warcraft...so they can be honourable mentions again! :D Of course this list can change at ANY time either now or the episodes that come with the next season...
That is all from Spotto?
This is kind of like those PPG reviews except 10x shorter because I can't be bothered! (at least PPG has less episodes)
So obviously, spoilers for people who don't watch South Park. P: If you don't want to be spoilered but are curious to what episodes are my favourites, just scroll straight to the bottom.

That is all from Spotto?
