But I am one of those loser nerds who decorates their room. I must customize EVERYTHING. Now if I actually went to a con and bought buttons or keychains my backpack could be customized too! But for now I am cheap and will just use the printer I have to decorate my wall (as well as expensive hockey jerseys *cough* >_> and a canadian flag) so here's what it looks like.
I'll have an update of my entire room when it isn't a complete mess, so yeah P:
Here is the evolution so far, from many years ago to now. You can tell because the photo quality is crap and gets better as time goes on. (First picture was taken with an old cellphone, so yeah...)
First time I decorated my wall. It's rather plain even with the pictures. As you can see this was when I was like "B-Daman is cool" when it's a pretty shitty anime, but you know.
Though technically my wall has never been blank. That tiger scroll has been on my wall for as long as I can remember @_@. Many of these images no longer exist. The only ones to still grace my wall are the fanarts drawn for me by Shiroi. <3 (Except the Henry one...I dunno where it went. D: )
A year or so later and it becomes a KazumiSayo wall! The images are better quality and there are more now, plus the photo itself looks better, lololol.
Then a few years after that it becomes the Hetalia wall. As you can tell the bed evolved too, there appears to be a shelf at the back now. The images are much better looking and there are TONS more. In fact, I thought it looked rather cluttered. (And as you can see there are Marvel comics and Negima manga on that shelf P:)
Today it is the Touhou wall because I was tired of staring at Hong Kong all the time. (I kid I still love you <3) Because the last time it looked way too cluttered I reduced the amount of images and because it's Touhou the pictures are far more amazing than anything else that has graced my walls. I think the UFO big one should be on the right as opposed to the left, but I fear my hockey jersey would cover Koishi if I did that. Otherwise it looks pretty good!
But most of the time the pictures on my wall aren't removed entirely, they just moved!
Also as you can tell my seal plushie evolved into a massive teddy bear. There are Hetalia doujins + some novels on that shelf now with Sims 2, Starcraft 2, and SoulSilver (ALSO A GUNDAM!) joining the Negima manga.
When I first put up the Negima wall, I eventually extended it to this corner with other characters on it.
But when the Hetalia wall went up, I removed several of the Chisame, Ku Fei and Haruna images from this wall and put the KazuSayo ones here. Standalone ones went over the closet, and the Chisame etc. ones went above the window which I'm not showing. (I'll probably remove them soon because I don't really care for them much anymore. I might put hockey stuff there or something not Japanese-like lololol)
Because I thought Negima was super awesome I extended it FURTHER. This was actually my first test of the Rasterbator program, and I underestimated how LARGE that KazuSayo one on the wall turned out to be, so yeah. Didn't mean to make it look so massive.
Since it was so big I removed it entirely, and today it is now the Hetalia wall since moved from the Touhou wall. That is how it looks today! Woo! It still looks cluttered though. I have way too many Hetalia ones clumped together (and way too many Negima ones overall)
The fanarts people do for me are on the corner I never shown, including Beyblade stuff, stuff from Shiroi, and a few things from Aoi-dono (but you can see the one on the door here P:) And also the Chisame etc. stuff I will likely get rid of soon.
But that is the stuff on my walls! In terms of my entire room, that will be whenever I clean my room! Yay!
EDIT: Explanations for why I put what on my wall. The biggest reason is quite obviously if it looks good, and if I love the series/franchise and characters but there are smaller, more minor reasons that affect why they're there.
For example no NSFW stuff, ever. It just wouldn't compute. This was why I was so annoyed when I went Nue-image hunting and kept finding these FANTASTIC images...with panty shots. GARGRRGG.
I also try not to put images that obviously show two characters are OMG IN LOVE. I dunno. It's already awkward if random strangers look into your room, it'd be MORE awkward if random strangers looked into your room and saw two guys kissing. If there has to be stuff like that I make sure one of the characters looks girly/manly enough to be het. I mean it's good and all to be proud to love stuff out of the norm but I am not willing to risk awkward moments for that! The funny thing is I have a Rei/Max one on my wall where they're feeding each other...AND THEY BOTH LOOK LIKE GIRLS. Hahaha.
So the MuraNue stuff on my wall are pretty fluffy looking, like hugs and stuff. If someone asks though, Murasa is a dude. The SatoKoi one is too cute to question and is obviously just sibling adorableness. (Besides what kind of weirdo will assume that about two characters that look like little girls in that picture!? :X) Which is why image hunting was rather difficult. It's hard to find GOOD UFO images where Murasa is not in a silly skirt and where both she and Nue are present. You see that one super-awesome UFO picture closest to the bear? That one didn't have Nue but it's A REALLY AWESOME-LOOKING IMAGE. I would've used it as the bigger picture next to the Chireiden one...IF IT HAD NUE. Argh. But yeah...that is all!
