spottoWorld of Tanks! Been playing that a ton lately...I'm currently up in Tier V driving around the famous T-34 of the Soviet army back in WWII. Took forever to grind through the BT-7 and A-20 to get where I am (and they are pretty terrible tanks x_x) plus I have an artillery, a SU-26 and planning to grab a tank destroyer SU-85 sometime in the future through the T-34. The game is really quite fun, especially if you platoon but works well alone too.
Also, you can MOD the game! So I decided why not. I've seen a few tank skins with Anime characters or cartoon characters on them, but they didn't look very natural to me. It's like putting your favourite wrestler on your goalie pads (wait I'm the only one who will get this comparison lol) or say, putting a humanoid on a car. You don't really put your favourite celebrity on your trunk or anything. If you want cool designs and colours on your car you'd give it different colours or even patterns, etc. So I opt'd for something like this instead!
Why yes, my tank is blue. Not very good or camouflage, unless it's night time or I'm at the bottom of the ocean...thus the anchor symbols and such. Well, Murasa IS the driver... >_> (And obviously, Nazrin is the commander, a-duh.)
Also you can't hear it but I have a sound mod too, replaces the in-game voices that inform me of damages or successful hits with MLP audio clips! So basically, Twilight Sparkle, my commander, if the commander is killed she says "I give up!" Rainbow Dash on the other hand is the driver, and if my driver is shot dead, she just screams. Lol. (Fluttershy gives me an unenthusiastic "yay" whenever I hit things. It is truly amusing, and not something I can easily describe without showing you first hand P: )
Also I often platoon with Ed, who I skinned too, so he looks like a proper tank in camouflage:
He also likes pushing my dead tank.
Which subsequently leads to both of us dead! Huzzah!
I also managed to catch a few Touhou fans playing the game. How do I know? Well their names give it away.
A Tiger [P] which is a Tiger but better, a truly fearsome tank and fitting for Yukari.
I know these last two are Touhou fans for sure because on the end-game screen they have [TH] as a clan tag, meaning they're in the Touhou clan, lol.
They both run E-75s, monstrous German tanks which...actually don't fit their names, but they have played for quite a while so it's natural.
But the one I see most often is HinanaiTenshi:
Who is a particularly adept player and so sometimes I look up to this guy whenever I see him around. He is often in an Easy Eight Sherman (or a regular Sherman), which is fitting for Tenshi. (American tanks in general are fitting for Tenshi. I have no idea why)
It is quite interesting to see how widepsread this fandom is when you see fans in games you play, lol.
SPEAKING of Touhou, I was thinking about Mokou lately and decided that she is exactly like Kai, or almost. It was weird how similar the characters are. I'll point-form it as I can't be bothered to paragraph everything.
Kai is...
-affiliated with phoenixes, due to Dranzer/Suzaku
-afflliated with fire, duh
-a loner
-sad/tragic/or at the very least sympathetic backstory which has to do with his father
-completely obsessed with defeating a rival/mortal enemy (Takao)
-done some pretty lousy things (well Beyblade-wise I suppose, what with Blade Sharks and then joining the Demolition Boys etc.)
And now, Mokou!
Mokou is...
-afflliated with phoenixes, due to danmaku/immortality/canonly being shown with phoenix wings
-afflliated with fire, due to having fire magic
-a loner
-sad/tragic/or at the very least sympathetic backstory which has to do with her father
-completely obsessed with defeating rival/mortal enemy (Kaguya)
-done some pretty lousy things (I PUSH MAN OFF MOUNTAIN FOR ELIXIR NOW KTHX)
Though Mokou has mellowed out recently and isn't quite the cold bastard Kai is (then again, Kai is sometimes friendly to kitty-cats, so uh, which can be the equivalent of Mokou helping lost children/humans back to the village (though never saying a thing) ) Or perhaps due to Touhou's nature of most characters being bastards, it isn't quite as obvious that Mokou might be one, lol.)
I like MokouKeine a lot (and I don't actually mind MokouKaguya, it sure beats out MokouMystia...) wait, am I getting in to a pairing debate now? ALRIGHT, PAIRING DEBATE TIME WITH SPOTTO AND THE LIKELY RESPONSES OF THE GENERAL POPULATION!
Spotto: MokouKeine is the best! And while I prefer it over MokouKaguya, MokouKaguya is better than MokouMystia!
General Population (of the Western fandom): YOU ARE STUPID! MokouMystia is adorable and MokouKaguya is much more interesting than boring old MokouKeine!

It's only popular due to one person who drew a popular comic series about it but you could replace the two of them with any ol' generic tall-dark and handsome man and generic schoolgirl-with-a-crush! MokouKeine is not boring if it's done right, which fanartists such as Shinoasa and Konac have done perfectly! Also I don't often prefer pairings where the two are supposed to hate each other!
GP: MokouMystia makes tons of sense! They both run food-cart services and are in the same game! That's about sense enough you need for a Touhou pairing anyway! Mokou's character is made up so much of Kaguya that it's plain silly to not pair the two up in some way! After all they live forever, they'll have to kiss and make-up at some point!
Spotto: If that is your reasoning for MokouMystia to make sense then why isn't MokouWriggle more widepsread!? Hello, two characters who act or look very masculine!? It's a no-brainer! It should make about as much sense as YuukaWriggle too! While that is true just because two people have to live with another's existence doesn't mean they have to spend time with them, after all, in 500,000 years when they're the only ones left they might be on the other side of the world away from each other! Keine won't live forever too, so I rather someone who would actually make Mokou happy as opposed to a long-term project that might not even pan out anyway! What's with all those fanworks where their feud suddenly disappears and they're kissy-kissy out of the blue? It makes no sense!

You know I`m pretty sure the yama`s going to have to send like ninety percent of Gensokyo`s population to hell. It seems her idea of being good is basically doing what you`re supposed to, so a youkai should do scaring and humans should do youkai-exterminating, or something. That means no matter how kind and well-meaning the Myourenji are, they're going to hell because the youkai aren't doing some scaring. (Except amusingly, Nue. My god that is a hilarious mental image) So someone like Flandre will go to heaven because she scares people, but Sakuya will go to hell for assisting the youkai. Koishi might go to hell for running away from her purpose, but Satori will go to heaven for being miserable, er I mean, staying a satori. All of Team 9 gets to go to heaven though! I imagine immortality is a sin too, but that's somewhat difficult to punish. I did hear that no one is truly truly truly immortal, just that if you've lived long enough to surpass the lifespan of earth itself I think the yama herself is going to come for you, else they might stay floating out there in space dying constantly or forever unconscious due to the lack of air...or something.
If fairies for example, are nature itself, and nature is gone, then so do fairies right? So they're not TECHNICALLY immortal in the sense of things, but so long is nature is around they'll continue respawning after you shoot them dead anyway. Same with Byakuren's type of immortality, if youkai are all gone then she too will no longer be around, and it's the same for hermits or shikaisen. They too have to continue doing rituals or at least fight off shinigami all the time...it feels like an imperfect method of immortality. I feel only the Hourai Elixir is true immortality, and even then...
