Well, I decided to bring back, "Spot's B-Daman Reviews" today. This time with a little bit of ZING!

Please note that I'm going with Canadian schedules, mostly because I'm Canadian.

Today's episode: Episode 42/"Lake B-Daman"

Travelling to Tsubakura City to find the other half of the scroll about the legend of Marda-B, our heroes find themselves upon a massive waterfall, a remarkable landmark of Tsubakura City.
This is Terry's hometown, as Cowtoon is Yamato's, Wintune is Gray's, Whygeese is Sly's, and Liken/Lyken is the Yong Fa's. (Weird town names, eh?) Terry explains the legend of Lake B-Daman.

Deep beneath Lake B-Daman sits the legendary parts of a great b-daman, it sits inside a dragon's mouth, and is guarded by a monster. Many men have dived down into this great lake to retrieve the parts, but none had succeeded. Of course, knowing Yamato, he'd automatically jump down that dangerous waterfall and into the lake to find them, but his friends stopped him from killing himself thankfully.

They enter Terry's "house", where before they can actually enter the inside of the inside, they get attacked by flying logs. Terry slices them away easily with his sword, but is caught by his father up in the trees. Well, apparently Terry trained very hard as a kid, disguised his voice with an accent to distract opponents, and dressed very strangely and looked very girly to make people confused. (Ok, the last one was a joke)

The scrolls are unveiled tot ell that Marda-B never lost a battle even till he died, and thena fter he did and was buried in a tomb in a pyramid, his B-Daman was crying to his master, as if wanting to fight more. Anyway, they all went to sleep.

Oh right, at one point there was a brief scene of the Cat Cafe' trolley moving, and you hear an unpleasant sound, after that, Mie and Liena run out of the Cat Cafe going, "Armada, that's nasty!"

But back to the present, they have stopped and were feeding lots of children food while they played with that thing that tested Yamato. Joe, with a "blastercore" he probably "stole" from Liken, (Idiots, xD) was delivering it to Tsubakura City. While Wen and Li were told to follow him, "secretly" (like usual)

So, some mysterious Enjyu person in all black (shadows to "make you think he's not who you think he is, even though he is") and sends out his buggy friends. Terry wakes up from one of the bugs and chops it in half with his sword, they're robot bugs, and made everybody's hands numb but Terry's! So they run outside and confront Enjyu, who's there with a few Neo-Shadow robots, and wants to destroy Tsubakura City! Terry, being the only one that could use his b-daman because his hands weren't numb, challenged Enjyu, and after about 5 seconds, Wing ninja was cut in half...

Enjyu was about to destroy Tsubakura City, when all heroic Joe comes in the last second, with Terry's parents destroying the robots, Enjyu escapes, but we all know he's going to be back, yet he's going to be back not for Yamato and the gang, though for someone else...*  There's a scene with Wen and Li spying on the battle and everything, but they apparently SHOULD NOT PUT IT AFTER THE COMMERCIAL, AS IT MAKES NO SENSE TO CHANGE SCENES AFTER 30 SECONDS OF THAT.

Next off, Terry is sad in the morning while the others were washing their hands to get the numbness out, Joe cheers him up by saying he should jump into Lake B-Daman and get those parts, stick it on the blastercore he stole! And thus, in just a matter of seconds, Terry is determined to find them! So, he goes ahead and jumps in, with Joe holding a drum for any signals in case. Suddenly a giant log falls off the waterfall and into the water, and Joe frantically waps his drum. Underwater, Terry dodges logs, and few he barely got out of the way with. Terry surfaces in a cave underground.

He sees glowing parts inside a dragon's mouth! Terry goes ahead to grab it, but a giant monster comes out. It skips to Yamato and the gang getting all worried, even Yamato wanted to jump in and find Terry, but Joe says Terry must do this alone. Terry surfaces with the parts. They are plugged into the blastercore, and in fancy effects, (from the dub), Wing Sword is born!!! Which is what Terry calls it. Yamato wanted to call it Wing Ninja 2...>>

Meanwhile in Neo-Shadow Headquarters, Enjyu has faield marda-B, but must redeem himself, once again.
And how will he redeem himself?

*That's a slight spoiler for the incoming episode (which is very awesome)

Rating: 8/10
Humour?: 4/10 Mostly a pretty serious episode, Yamato jumping into the lake and Armada with too much gas seemed to be the only humour relief.
Dubbing?: 4/10 Bleh, it was ok.
Voice Acting?: 6/10, nothing too special about it.
Character development?: 9/10, Terry.

Although not the greatest episode, it's close enough. Not an episode I'd want to rewatch 9 times in a row, episode 43? COMING UP!
Here's a spoiler cap:

Well that was fun, byebye!
