They also did a few other EQUALLY AS EPIC videos including an amazingly animated Double Spoiler PV, a "Sakuya is the SDM Pimp" PV, and an amazing PV of Tenshi singing a brilliant remix also animated quite well, among other things! I wish I could buy this all. I would, in a heartbeat. This and Chirei De, straight into my possession. D: (Chirei De's already sold out lol)
I thought I'd compare my music tastes with my initial music reaction to Ten Desires.
I love practically every Touhou song, but some more than others. A few I had to warm up to but love them quite a bit now. I'm going to go game-by-game and only note the BEST of the BEST in my humble opinion. Starting with Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil!
This one will be rather unoriginal, but I think if I had to choose the best songs from this game, it'd be Beloved Tomboyish Daughter, Septette for the Dead Princess, and U.N. Owen was Her?
I'd choose Centennial Festival for the Magical Girls but I really only like one part of it over the others, and the rest of the songs albeit good do not reach the awesomeness of these three songs.
Perfect Cherry Blossom had four songs of note. Diao ye zong (Withered Leaf), Doll Judgement, Ghostly Band ~ Phantom Ensemble, and Bloom Nobly, Cherry Blossoms of Sumizome ~ Border of Life.
Imperishable Night comes in with EVEN MORE songs of note, including but not limited to Nostalgic Blood of the East ~ Old World, Cinderella Cage ~ Kagome-Kagome, Lunatic Princess, Extend Ash ~ Hourai Victim, and Reach for the Moon ~ Immortal Smoke.
And then we have Mountain of Faith, with such beautiful songs as The Gensokyo the Gods Loved, Faith is for the Transient People, Suwa Foughten Field, and Native Faith.
Subterranean Animism has the most notable songs of all, including Green Eyed Jealousy, Heartfelt Fancy, Satori Maiden ~ 3rd Eye, Lullaby of Deserted Hell, Solar Sect of Mystic Wisdom~ Nuclear Fusion, and Last Remote.
And then there's Undefined Fantastic Object, with A Tiny, Tiny, Clever Commander, Fires of Hokkai, and Cosmic Mind ~ Emotional Skyscraper.
Oh and Ten Desires (initial thoughts) Night Sakura of Dead Spirits...yeah that's all for now.
Then songs from the more unusual games of the series, including PoFV and the Fighters. (Don't ask me about GFW...I wouldn't be able to tell you)

You're probably wondering... "But Spotto! You missed many other great themes!" And yes, I did. But those ones I believe are GOOD but not quite as good as the ones I listed. Why am I even listing these, you ask? As you can tell from the abundance of epic from Chireiden, I obviously dub that game with the best music. My favourite song forever is Emotional Skyscraper ~ Cosmic Mind which comes from UFO...
But one thing I must note of is...which stage tends to have the better songs? Obviously here you can tell stage six ALWAYS has epic music, but for some reason I am not seeing it in the newest game, Ten Desires. (Hopefully it won't break the pattern!) I also tend to enjoy stage four music, but I didn't list as many as stage six. Other songs such as Love Coloured Master Spark, Maiden's Capriccio ~ Dream Battle, Youkai Mountain, and Captain Murasa are great too but I didn't include them. (Also the stage songs themselves, such as Interdimensional Voyage of a Ghostly Passenger Ship...never writing out the full name of THAT song again, and Autumnal Waterfall are equally made of awesomium.) So it's nice that Ten Desires continues this trend with its pretty awesome stage four boss theme. Stage two also has good showing, but not always.
Stage five however does not. I don't understand this either because shouldn't this be the song of the dragon before you head to the big bad? The song of the strongest second-in-command, the servant, the gardener, the buttmonkey...!? And yet I'm not fond of them, except Sanae's and if Komachi counts hers. (Not listed though, P: ) Shou's theme I warmed up to but not a favourite unfortunately. Overall I think MoF has the most "good music" that I never listed, despite Subterranean Animism having the most mindblowingly awesome music. ...and now ARRANGES! Since there's so many songs I will just take two of each category. I RECOMMEND HEADPHONES. If you for some reason LACK THESE, which you should not, crank up your hopefully brilliant quality speakers' volume for some of the best music this side of Gensokyo.

Here we have U.N. Owen, the most recognized song in all of Touhou. I particularly love this vocal rendition of it, despite the numerous awesome FIVE MILLION OTHER REMIXES of this, but eh. This song it is!

After that peaceful-sounding Border of Life, I decided to metal it up with some good ol' Nostalgic Blood. There are SO MANY REMIXES I LOVE OF THIS, but I'm going to go with this one because we need some metal around here.
THESE TWO SONGS HAVE TOO MANY AWESOME REMIXES...so I chose a random one. Have a vocal from C-CLAYS for Extend Ash ~ Hourai Victim. Mokou and Keine have some of the best songs in the entire series.

This is actually Suika's theme, never mind the silly Reimu picture. I went with TAMUSIC again for this one because this song definitely suits the piano, at least to me. Have some Broken Moon. (I like to think of this song as Touhou's main theme song, too!)
This is the Tenshi video I mentioned in the beginning, and also a vocal remix of Wonderful Heaven. BEHOLD ITS CATCHINESS.
And after some intense music, let us sit back and relax with a nice theme of Gensokyo the Gods Loved.
Native Faith...is one of my most favourite Touhou songs. Second only after Emotional Skyscaper, but damn I love this remix. Actually I love all Native Faith's remixes.
Green Eyed Jealousy comes smashing into this post with a less up-beat of a song than the Native Faith one was, but it sure does have a great amount of emotion.
One of my most favourite songs from this particular circle is its Heartfelt Fancy arrange. ENJOY IT.
I was gonna post a different one for Satori Maiden ~ 3rd Eye, but then I heard this and...well yeah here you go.
If that above song was too unnerving then perhaps a nice relaxful Lullaby will be better, one of a Deserted Hell, but still.
I'm just posting KakashiMr stuff now aren't I lololol.
ARGH. I wanted to post a metal version of NUCLEAR FUSION. But I couldn't choose one they were all so mindblowingly awesome. Then I decided for a different genre, but the metal ones are so good--...then I just gave up and took the easy way out by posting the lovely classical version also posted by KakashiMr.
Because I skimped on the metal with Nuclear Fusion...have a metal Last Remote? o_O

My initial thoughts aren't much so far, but these doujin arrangers have quite the talent, and I'm sure they can show me how much talent ZUN's TD OST is too simply with their awesomeness. This has been Spotto, and I enjoyed listening to the music here while posting them. I hope you too enjoy them because this is only a tiny fraction of that almost 1 terabyte torrent of Touhou music.
